Fall Wreaths For 2023
How cool is this front door below with apples and seasonal foliage leaves. You could actually make this wreath with a grapevine wreath and simply glue on a faux leave swag and plastic green apples. If you like this idea, either order the materials on Amazon or head to Michaels or Hobby Lobby.
Loving how the green apples look in the middle of this red front door.
Let your imagination run wild when it comes to Fall front door decor!
Fall Wreath Ideas
Google and Pinterest have several Fall wreath ideas and most of the ones I found have pumpkins surrounding the door. Lining your steps with pumpkins is a simple and easy way to add a Fall theme to your front entrance.
Here are 5 Fall wreath ideas to transform your front door:
1. Classic Fall Wreath: A classic wreath made from dried leaves, pinecones, berries, and other fall foliage.
2. Rustic Burlap Wreath: A rustic look with a burlap bow and pinecone accents.
3. Autumn Sunflower Wreath: Decorative sunflowers and orange ribbon add a cheerful touch to any fall door.
4. Apple Spice Wreath: Fragrant apples, cinnamon sticks, and faux foliage create the perfect welcome for autumn visitors.
5. Monochromatic Maple Leaf Wreath: An elegant display of real maple leaves in shades of red, orange, and yellow for an eye-catching front door decoration.
Fall front porch ideas can vary from simple to extravagant. Depending on your investment, you can line the steps of your home with a simple assortment of mums and pumpkins or many as shown below.
Fall Swag Wreath With Flowers
Adding a fall floral swag in place of a traditional wreath to a light grey front door is like adding a touch of warmth and beauty to your home. The contrast between the bright tones of the flowers and the muted tones of the door will make any entryway stand out. You can easily customize the swag with different seasonal flowers and foliage to bring in pops of color, texture, and fragrance that will give your entrance a welcomed look all season long.
Fall Dried Flower Wreath
Create a beautiful, eye-catching Fall décor with this large, lush dried flower wreath featuring vibrant color palette of yellow, red and green set against a backdrop of green foliage.

This is one of my favorite wreaths from Amazon below. It’s lush and full making it a sure wintter for any front door.
Unique Fall Door Wreaths
A few years ago I decorated one of our entrances with pumpkins, gourds and mums. The alcove below was a small area outside our back door (at our old house) and this particular year, I made the wreath on the door out of hydrangeas. I purchased a wispy wreath, cut hydrangeas from one of our shrubs and used crafting wire to fasten to the wreath. Over the course of a few days, the hydrangeas dried.

Corn Stalk Wreath
A fall corn stalk wreath is a beautiful and eye-catching addition to any front door. It’s easy to make, too: simply wind dried cornstalks around a pre-made grapevine wreath for a rustic, country charm.
The additional fall front door decor featuring the rattan round hanging lanterns also adds a warm and inviting touch to the front entrance.
Here is a picture of our home last year as the leaves were turning. If you look closely, we had a large Fall wreath on the front door sporting faux pumpkins.
Red Berry Wreath
The fall colors below look beautiful against the light brown cedar shake siding. The arched front door with vines growing over it, and pumpkin planters with fall foliage create a warm an inviting entrance.
Berry wreaths are one of the go-to door decorations for Fall and Christmas and this Fall wreath below does not disappoint! With almost 1200 reviews, it’s a winner!
Pumpkin Wreath
Our front door below features an oversized pumpkin wreath that helps balance the large portico with columns flanked with corn stalks.
Our portico offers some relief from the weather so I did add fall front door decor like ceramic foxes and squirrels for a pop of seasonal flare.
Our Fall Front Door at our old house
This pumpkin wreath below from Amazon is a bit smaller than mine above but there are different sizes available and I love the color variations.
Fall Front Door Decor
My friend Nancy decorated her front door for Fall and front porch with pastel blue pumpkins last fall and it was gorgeous!
What’s your favorite part of her porch?
Designer tip, the color blue is very popular on google right now for Fall decorating. I love the blue coastal Fall decor (see post here) that I used last year in our living room. The fall wreath is one of my favorite parts of the living room.
Large Fall Wreaths
Large fall wreaths can make a big impact on your curb appeal. The large wreath below on my front door provides a focal point for the front entrance and coordinates nicely with the arched front door.

Basket Wreath
My friend Steph’s Fall Front Door basket hanger (see how to make it here) looks beautiful filled with vary berry stems faux and real!
How many of you have started decorating for fall?
This has nothing to do with Fall Front Door Wreaths but I just ordered this Fall flannel shirt below because it ties in with all my Fall decor and I thought you would love it too! Isn’t is Fall flannel so pretty?

I’m just gearing up to start decorating our new front porch – I’m beyond excited. And yes, most of my inspiration came either from Pinterest or magazines. I even decided to get crafty last weekend and made a fall wreath – my husband said to me “I didn’t know you were crafty” – LOL
We just found blue pumpkins at the local farmer’s market so I’m looking forward to incorporating those with the traditional orange ones and the Cinderella (white) pumpkins along with mums.
Beautiful photos! You’re a pro at decorating…come to Texas and do mine. 🙂

ha thanks Pat! 🙂
So many beautiful ideas! I LOVE decoration for Fall. 🙂
Thanks so much Rebecca!
Beautiful! I miss New England so much! I, as a child, used to vacation in Northern Mass. with my family. What good times we had.
I’m so jealous of you and your autumn! Where I live now, we don’t have that. Sniff.
So beautiful. Makes me want to decorate for fall!!
We are in the process of selling our home. I just painted the front door. It’s metal and grey. So I ordered three sample jars of paint in the color Hickory Grove, and it looks amazing! I’m going to decorate using the ideas here with the brown front door, and it’s going to make the entrance so inviting! Thank you!!
Sounds pretty! Happy decorating and thanks so much for stopping by and commenting. I appreciate it 🙂
Simply gorgeous, awesome creativity.
I love these ideas. My favorite is the stained door and the pumpkins in the corner.

So many wonderful ideas! Autumn and Spring are my two favorite times of the year in that order. Winter is next and I really dislike summer except for the excellent flowers. TFS.
Thank you !!!
I live in Central Mississippi. I wonder if anyone else has this problem. EVERYTIME I put some kind of wreath, door bucket with flowers…. anything. The birds want to sit on it. When I put the door bucket filed with fall flower, the birds were sitting on it and almost flew in the house when I opened the door. Does anyone else have the problem?
We haven’t had that happen but I’m sure it’s common !! They love the cozy house you made them 😂
