Anyone can put up a Christmas tree in the front room and run a garland down the banister. But it takes a homeowner who’s really jolly and especially festive to deck the halls from attic to cellar and everywhere in between! I love to look at decked out Christmas kitchens and many times, just simple greens add the perfect touch.
One part of the house that is sometimes overlooked when the tinsel and stockings are being hung is the kitchen. That’s too bad, because kitchens have tons of decorating potential for the holidays! After all, isn’t the kitchen the heart of the home, and where most people end up anyway when we’re entertaining? I’ve collected a bunch of great ideas for making kitchens merry and bright for the holidays. Click on the pictures and links provided to learn more about each one.

These kitchens are so beautiful and creative. Mine needs help. Thanks for the inspiration. I know it’s a week before Christmas, but I can’t find fresh greenery anywhere. Ugh! So disappointed. I went to every nursery, grocery store, big box store etc. Nothing. On ly old dried out stuff. I love the smell of fresh evergreen s. Guess it’s not happening this year.
