Today we are sharing our Christmas Kitchen as part of the Decked and Holiday Styled Tour hosted by Bree at ZDesign At Home.
Before we get started though, I wanted to thank you so much for all your kind words, emails, instagram messages and facebook posts about my grandfather yesterday.
If you follow us on those channels, you know he fell and had to have some x-rays taken. He didn’t break anything and he is home recovering. Phew!
If you are coming from Courtney’s at A Thoughtful Place, welcome!
Our kitchen was gutted last summer and completely renovated and we couldn’t be happier with the new space.

Do you remember me telling you last week that my gramp kept losing his pants?
Well I was hanging these wreaths when they dropped to the floor!
Needless to say, we cranked up his belt a little tighter ;).
If you want to see what our 1960’s kitchen looked like, you can check out our kitchen renovation blog post.
We tore down walls and opened this space up adding an additional 400 sq. feet.
It was crazy!
Be sure to check out our Christmas Family Room, Coastal Christmas Dining room, Christmas Entryway, Christmas master bedroom and teen girl Christmas bedroom all from 2016.
Oh and all of our Christmas Pajama posts if you are loving holiday pjs! Just click the image and it will take you to the pj post.

I’m so glad your grandfather is okay! That’s so scary, but I’m glad he is recovering.
Also–those barn doors make my heart so happy. I LOVE barn doors in houses but don’t have anywhere to put them in my house and it makes me so sad. 🙁 Your kitchen looks so amazing with all the pops of red and green.
Merry Christmas!
Jessica Bruno says

This kitchen is beautiful! Do you all share this kitchen or do you have three kitchens? Do you frequently eat together? How do you share or determine cooking duties?
Jessica Bruno says
Hi Karen! We have another kitchen and we do a Saturday night dinner together as a family (all four generations). Between work schedules, kids sports and my grandfather insisting he eat at 5pm SHARP, we all kind of do our own thing during the week. Although many times during the week, my son, my dad and me will eat together as my mom may work late. My gram and gramp eat together b/c eating at 5pm sharp isn’t practical for anyone except them! haha.
Juanita in OH says
The kitchen is just as wonderful as the other rooms. You have everything in just the right amount which is not an easy task. I am grateful to hear that your Grandfather is doing okay. I also went to the other ladies blogs and it was so enjoyable to see how differently things look in different settings. Each and everyone made my heat leap. The homes were fabulous also. TFS.
Jessica Bruno says
Thanks Jaunita! Glad you enjoyed our little tour and friends as well. Have a great day!
