BIG NEWS: Our Multigenerational House Is For Sale

This post may contain affiliate links. Please see our disclosure here.

This is the craziest post ever to share, in fact, it doesn’t really seem real but our multigenerational house with gorgeous in-law apartment is for sale as of this past week. Was this planned? Not at all. In fact, we didn’t even plan on considering anything until late next year or the year after. You may remember we sold our Park Model Home on the lake a couple months ago in preparation for next year in case something for sale came up on the water but buying this year was never the plan. Something came up in our town a little over a week ago that we loved and we were able to make a deal with the seller. Crazy right? Providing this whole thing comes together and my parents house sells, I will share more of the new house and crazy story that landed me inside a house that I never thought we could afford. Yes we are all moving together….we are a package deal. -ha

The property has 1 acre and currently has a small barn where our two ponies live. We are willing to tear down all the horse fencing if that doesn’t appeal to the new buyer and the barn could be used for storage/shed. There are also two other large sheds for tractor/outdoor furniture ect. The listing price is $599,999. If you are interested in buying in the central Massachusetts area (Worcester County), need a large home with in-law apartment, home office or just a lot of room for a big family, we have what you need. For those of you who have been following along since the start of our blog 6 years ago, you know we have poured our heart and soul into renovating this house. This is my childhood home that I grew up in (since I was 14 years old) and it’s bittersweet that it’s for sale. I am also the listing agent (I have had my real estate license since 2005) so if you would love to schedule a showing, email me at jessica (at) fourgenerationsoneroof (dot) com. The MLS listing #72246151. Stay tuned, I will be sharing the house we just signed the Purchase and Sale on soon ;). PS. Did you see my parents park model home that we listed for sale yesterday? If you want to GLAMP, this is your place right on beautiful Lake Manchaug. UPDATE: We Sold and Moved! See our New Old World Mediterranean Home

Unbelievable!!! You guys are steadily on the move. I can’t believe you are selling that beautiful Dream House! I wish we
could move there but, our family was once separated by states and it was horrible for us. Now we are all happily located in Columbus, OH and I wouldn’t leave unless all my children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren moved with us, including our sons in-laws, lol. They are the most wonderful bunch of people you would ever want to meet. In my mind your mom’s house and yours will probably be sold by the end of this week. God bless your wonderful group and I’ll be praying about everything for you. Don’t forget to exhale. I am no realtor; however, I watch so much HGTV (for years), as you might already know that you should remove all photos so that buyer’s can imagine themselves in the home. Have a blessed rest of Sunday and the week. Cyber Hugs.

  5. Whee! Good luck on all of your endeavors, may God’s Holy Spirit be with you and your family.

    Hello Jessica!
My husband and I bought a small bungalow on Manchaug Pond five summers ago. We gutted the house and remodeled from scratch. I studied Pinterest for all my home improvement and decorating ideas. I just recently found your blog and I am very excited to see your new house! Is it on Manchaug Pond?

    1. Hi Lisa!!! That is so awesome! The new isn’t lake front as we wanted but it has a really nice pool and the house is pretty amazing 🙂

  7. Why do you sell and buy a new house? You invested so much love and work in this house and it’s your family’s heritage. Is the grandparents home so expensive that you have to downsize to a 3-generation-home ? Hopefully the new owners will appreciate your work and won’t throw everything into the skip…
Noisy greetings from a german reader of your blog
