Get Ready, Hood® Eggnog is Back!!! You know, sometimes it’s the littlest things that bring back childhood memories. Ever since I can remember, my mom has hosted Christmas Eve and as a kid, she would serve us kids Hood in fancy little drink glasses that I thought were the coolest things ever. She now serves her grandkids eggnog in those SAME glasses. -ha. Something about my parents generation and my grandparents generation, they don’t get rid of anything! In this case, it’s kind of cool to see my son drinking eggnog during the holidays from the same little glasses that I did as a kid. As many of you know, we have partnered with Hood for many of their products over the years and we are thrilled to be joining them this Holiday Season once again.

Hood Eggnog is Back!

Get Ready, Hood Eggnog is BACK! Delicious eggnog recipes featuring pumpkin, golden, vanilla and light eggnog.

There’s no better way to celebrate the season than with delicious Hood Eggnog and one thing I recently learned while looking through recipe ideas using eggnog is that you can add it to your coffee! Did you know that? I had no idea. Next time I am in the store, I plan on purchasing the Hood Pumpkin Flavored Eggnog and adding a splash to my coffee.

The Golden Eggnog recipe has been a secret for more than 50 years. Hood Golden Eggnog’s blend of extra creamy milk, sugared yolks and spices make it a holiday favorite, whether you drink it straight from the glass or use it in your favorite recipes. My favorite flavors are Pumpkin and Vanilla, but this year, I will also be incorporating the Hood Light Eggnog. Hood Light Eggnog is made with 55% less fat than the leading eggnog. If you read and enjoyed my post last week about counting calories, you will love this light option too!

  1. I’ve never been a fan of drinking eggnog (it’s the texture) but I LOVE the idea of making a recipe with it! Thanks for the great inspiration! I definitely want to try a few of those recipes! That french toast sounds SO good!

  2. Oh Jessica you know it! I am in my early 70’s and I’ve been drinking Hood since forever. I don’t ever remember drinking anything else. In fact, we had our Hood milk delivered. My Dad had an insulated silver chest that said “Hood” on it, (which we have since given away:( ~ not the right thing to do. Anyway, my Mom would leave the milkman a note for the next morning telling him if we needed butter, cream or eggs. I miss those days desperately. I love all the eggnog flavors, but I have to say I drink the Light more than anything. No taste difference, just not quite as thick. I also love the Vanilla. Anyway, so glad to hear from another Hood Lover! Oh, and thanks for the recipes – yummy!
