EasyClosets Review

When Jim moved in, we spent some time trying to figure out where all of his stuff was going to go and on the priority list, was creating a new walk-in closet.

The coastal bedroom below is part of a Jack and Jill setup in our house so we decided to convert it to a walk-in closet.

The bedroom below has a large double patio door (to the left of the image below) that leads to a small iron balcony so we only had 2 walls to utilize.

You can find the first blog post where I share the new walk in closet design and layout here.

The image below shows the bedroom empty.

EasyClosets vs California Closets

We partnered with EasyClosets to create a full diy walk-in closet along with retrofitting the existing closet in this room with a wood closet system. I had researched several closet options that were DIY friendly and affordable. Easy Closets was by far the best solution for our budget while not sacrificing quality. We were not interested in paying thousands in labor either to have California Closets install our new closet system so ultimately, we saved thousands on the cost by doing it ourselves.

EasyClosets is the ultimate Do it Yourself stop for all things closets and organization. Click here to head to their online design center.

They have everything from kitchen, bathroom, pantry, bedroom, garage and many more closet organization solutions.

Whether you are improving a bedroom reach in closet (as shown below in Driftwood wood color) or a full walk-in bedroom closet like me, Easy Closets has you covered.

EasyClosets Design Tool

The EasyCloset “why choose Us” page is chocked full of how to create your custom design closet featuring a free design tool, free design specialist assistance and instant price quotes.

It’s seriously so simple.

Easy Closets is an affordable high quality solution that you can design from your computer (with the help of a design specialist), order and install without even leaving your house!

The closet system below is very similar to what we chose to install.

We decided to line two of the walls in the bedroom with a closet system from Easy Closets similar to the below image.

There are so many walk in closet systems that it can be overwhelming when trying to pick a layout.

One of my favorite features of the Easy Closet website is the gallery page which helped me with ideas.

Custom Closet Ideas

Do you have a closet you would like to renovate? I highly recommend checking out EasyClosets site as it’s very simple to create custom closets on a budget. You can also check out our small closet where we turned a smaller closet into a custom space for Jim’s work clothes.

Taking proper measurements is key! Measure twice, maybe even three times.

The designers at EasyCloset utilize every square inch of space and you wouldn’t want to miss out organizational features! They will help you decided which closet system is the best for your needs.

Ultimately, we decided to add a custom island similar to the one below to the center of the room allowing for more storage and organization.

Once the bedroom was emptied, we ripped up all of the carpet and installed engineered hardwood flooring.

If you are looking for an easy to install hardwood flooring using staples, be sure to check out this post.

EasyCloset Installation

Overall our Easyclosets installation was fast, efficient and we are very impressed with the quality (and the directions!). If you don’t want to take our word for it, check out their reviews.

Easy Closets reviews are excellent and many customers are saying the same thing. The closet system was very easy to install and the closet design tool was amazing!

If you have a smaller closet, check out Easy Track closets reviews.

They have some of the best small walk in closet systems around (see our small closet makeover here).  You also can’t argue with a free design service either. It’s a win win!

In my opinion, the pricing at Easy Closets to be very affordable compared to other closet design companies.

Their design specialist Patti was also amazing to work with and very knowledgeable.

In fact, since sharing this blog post, a handful of you already purchased from Easy Closets and already completed your installation!

Custom walk in closets are super expensive when you hire a closet company to install them. If you can follow directions and are even a little handy, you can do this!
