Merry Christmas from our Family to Yours. I was recently going through last years Christmas pictures and so thankful for April Eaton (a local photographer in our town) who captured our family before my gram passed away and my grandfather’s health and mental state started to fail. 2017 was a mixed bag of emotions between my husband’s job loss, my grandparents failing health, both my grandparents being placed in a Nursing Home, the death of my gram and my childhood home being put on the market for sale. I am ready to say good-bye to 2017! -ha. I created a Christmas slide show of my family that were taken 1 month before (December 2016) the shit hit the fan in our house. I look at these pictures right before 2017 arrived and am so thankful we have them. Have a wonderful holiday and I am looking forward to 2018!

  2. Jessica, Merry Christmas to you and your family. We have read through your life as you blog and appreciate you for welcoming us into your home. All of us have had years like this. Especially this one! BUT as we gather and ponder our losses and loved ones let us humbly remember those imprisoned, millions of refugees around the world, homeless on our streets and those languishing without hope. Our faith has blessed us with the greatest gift and comfort the world could possibly have…the Christ child, Jesus.
