Since today is the first day of spring, how about we take a peek at some easy spring crafts for the front porch. Some of these we created ourselves and other are crafts I found on pinterest. My son loves the idea of helping me craft and some of these are easy enough for him. I love the idea of filling a “letter” with fresh succulents. Fun right!? Updated April 2019.

Fresh green succulents are beautiful and easy to maintain.
Our 30 minute faux hydrangea spring wreath. This is a faux hydrangea flower and if you front porch stays dry, then this would be perfect. I added a cute letter B from Michaels Crafts as a symbol of my last name.

Fabric or Washi taped eggs are a perfect craft for Easter.
A pretty pussy willow wreath. I always thought pussy willows bloomed in the fall but to my surprise, we have a few blooming right now.
We filled simple vases and mason jars with tulips and they were perfect for our Spring vignette. Spring crafts for the front porch can also be used indoors!
Filling an old water can with faux flowers or even real, is a great idea.
Front porch decorating ideas on a budget
I purchased paper mache eggs and speckled acrylic brown paint on them using a craft paint brush. Be sure to click the link under the image for the tutorial. It’s so easy! These definitely cannot get wet but would look great on a side table on a front porch that is covered. Super cute and welcoming!

Don’t be afraid to decorate your front porch with items that you may have used indoors. If your front porch is covered, then decorate a side table, shelf or tabletop as you would inside your home. The same Spring decorating ideas apply on a front porch as they do indoors.

Spring crafts for the porch are not only fun but a great way to decorate on a budget. I know I am ready to be done with winter! I love the idea of to create a mosaic vase using stamps or a flower stencil. Many times I try to reuse what we had last year especially wreaths. If you front porch stays fairly dry, you should have no problem reusing something year after year.
