Are you looking for Easter decorating ideas? I have a few tips that I am sharing today featuring white and gold Easter decorating ideas in our dining room. I finally found a buffet table (which happens to be a media console from HomeGoods) and compliments our rustic wood dining table and white slipcovered parson chairs nicely! I also provided affiliate links to my table and chairs if you are interested.
Casual White and Gold Easter Decorating Ideas
Are you a fan of decorating for Easter? It’s not a holiday I tend to go overboard with when it comes to decorating but I do love a pretty Easter dining table. The white tuscan inspired dishes are from HomeGoods and they set the theme for the Easter tablescape. Aren’t they beautiful?
White and Gold Easter Decorations
The white tuscan dishes are a bit fancy detailing a textured scroll yet the offer casual elegance. I decided the gold checkered and striped glasses to help add a bit of modern sophistication.
Whenever I am shopping for Holiday decorations, I always have multipurpose functionality in mind. I personally love basic white dishware because you can use it over and over. For example, at Christmas time, I can pop a patterned red or solid dish with these white dishes.
Easter decorations for a table
#1 The cute floral bunnies are actually part of a garland that I bought at HomeGoods. I just cut eat bunny off the long garland piece and tied a knot at the top of the string to create an ornament hanger. Cute right?
#2 Simple flowers as a centerpiece add elegance and beauty plus, you can buy the flowers at the grocery store. Flowers are an easy cheap Easter centerpiece.
Many of these Easter decorating ideas have nothing to do with Easter. I would say this Easter table is more of a transitional table.
If you look closely, the only Easter decorations on the table are the Easter bunny napkins and the floral Easter bunny favor in the bowl. This Easter tablescape would be perfect as a Spring or Summer tablescape as well.
Easter Dining Room Ideas
The dining buffet is actually a media console from HomeGoods. I know right? Don’t be afraid to think outside of the box when it comes to furniture. Now a days, you can literally use a piece of furniture in many different capacities. There are no rules as far as I am concerned.
In an effort to create a modern rustic dining room, the white simple modern artwork on sale from HomeGoods, coordinated perfectly with the white slipcovered chairs and wooden rustic dining table.

I love how the white and gold color scheme looks on the buffet.
The buffet runner is actually a rug from HomeGoods. Yep, a rug! It’s 3×5 in size and I draped it over the top with the excess hanging behind the buffet. It’s soft pastel blue color with fringe on the end added texture and a hint of color.

Dining Room buffet table Easter Decorating Ideas
If you have a buffet table in your dining room, try using a couple of the same pieces from your Easter tablescape to tie the two together. In this case, I added the white dishes and gold glasses from the table to the buffet creating a small cocktail station.
White and gold are two colors that are classic and timeless. You can literally sprinkle hints of Easter throughout your own without looking like you live in “Easter Bunny” land.
Playful Sophisticated Easter Decorating Ideas
I am not usually a fan of Easter themed stuffed animals but seriously, this tiny Easter bunny white pillow with floral pattern is adorable. The cute little girl Easter bunny doll coordinated perfectly. It’s like they are two friends wandering through the woods together and happened to end up on my dining room chair.
Simple white and gold Easter decorating ideas do not necessarily mean all Easter decor. Your furnishings, wall color , flatware or rug can also share hints of the white and gold theme.

Your dining room is really beautiful Jess. You’ve outdone yourself. I am so glad to see you moving forward after a really hard year for you and your family.
Hi Vicki! Thank you, I appreciate your comment and getting busy has been the best medicine 🙂 Have a wonderful day!
Others are right – you really did outdo yourself on this one. There isn’t a thing I would change … well except for maybe the white chairs! lol Love them but they wouldn’t stay white at our house. Happy Easter to all of you, including your grandparents in Heaven!
Thank you Tricia!! Appreciate that ❤️
Love this look. The mix of modern farmhouse white with the elegance of gold is gorgeous. I have fallen in love with white dinnerware. I have lots of plain one but I am trying to decide on a more elegant set. I love these with the detailed edges. Great job.
Everything looks so beautiful! I really like the Easter napkins and cute stuffed animals.
Love it all. It looks like you have a refectory table which is what I’m getting. Mine will be smaller and will fit right in my dining area.
Your settings are just beautiful.
