How to make Christmas Eggnog Pie. Sounds pretty amazing right? You may have seen our post a couple weeks ago featuring all of the Hood® Eggnog flavors along with some fun ideas featuring eggnog. As part of the Hood Eggnog Holiday Campaign, I decided to whip up a dessert featuring Hood Eggnog.

How to Make Christmas Eggnog Pie

- 1/4 cup Hood® Vanilla Eggnog or whichever flavor you want
- 4 ounces of cream cheese soft
- 1 tbsp butter soft
- 3/4 cup confection sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 tbsp sour cream
- 1 cup whipped topping
- 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- Optional: Sprinkle 1/4 tsp nutmeg or cinnamon to top
- 1 graham cracker crust pie I used a 9" You can also use the mini pie crusts too
Instructions : Step by Step
- Beat cream cheese, butter, vanilla and sugar. Mix everything else in except the whipped topping and nutmeg. Fold in whipped topping. Spread in pie crust and top with spice. Freeze 2-4 hours or until frozen. Remove 5-10 minutes before serving to soften.
I love the taste of the Hood Vanilla Eggnog so I decided to use that flavor for my pie but I think the Golden Eggnog flavor with apple spice would be delicious too and of course, you can’t go wrong with the Pumpkin flavor either.
Pure vanilla extract compliments the traditional eggnog flavor to make this a delicious, creamy holiday treat. Not only is Hood Vanilla Eggnog perfect for cooking or baking, it’s absolutely delicious as a drink.
We host Christmas Eve and prepare the Feast of the Seven Fishes and we always have a beverage station with different flavored eggnog choices. The kids love drinking eggnog out of fancy glasses and listening to Christmas music.
Hood Eggnog is only available for a limited time, so bring it home today and celebrate the season. Drinking eggnog is a family favorite in our house around the holidays. In fact, as soon as it hits shelves before Thanksgiving, the kids are eager to load up the grocery cart. I always laugh and say, “are you really going to drink all that eggnog?”
