Today I am sharing our goldendoodle approved red Christmas living room! As long as they have a basket full of toys and treats in the room, I think they would approve anything. -ha.
Red Christmas living room ideas
What a crazy messed up holiday season right?
It doesn’t feel like Christmas even if the house is decorated.
It’s a very strange feeling this year. Thanks to Covid, we are not hosting our big Christmas eve party this year which is why I think it doesn’t feel like Christmas.
Red Christmas Throw Pillows & Red Berry Tree Picks
We are having a low key Christmas this year with just us and of course the goldendoodles haha!
These goldendoodles will literally stand on their heads to get a treat. They are the perfect photography props!
Chesney is the white goldendoodle and I love how she blends with the light colors of the room and the pops of red Christmas living room decorations.
She’s so cute!
Pops of red always seem to end up being my Christmas go-to color. Not only is the color red in our living room, it’s in our foyer too.
Red Christmas Gnomes Decorations
Our fun Christmas station filled with hot chocolate and Christmas gnomes was a fun project I did for Homegoods last month and of course, it’s all red!
Our Christmas staircase project with The Christmas Tree Shops also ended up with a theme of red country Christmas decorations.
The little snowman and chipmunk have traveled all over the house thanks to the goldendoodles.
I would love to hear what you are doing for Christmas this year and how you are making it special. Massachusetts has some of the strictest Covid rules and regulations out there and honestly, I don’t agree with many of them. It’s a little ridiculous in this State right now.
Traditions are hard to break and this year, the inability to celebrate with close family members along with extended family and friends has really put a damper on this holiday season. Of course we will make the best of it and I am thankful that so far, we are all healthy here (knock on wood!).

Jessica, MERRY CHRISTMAS! You are one of the very few people who make reference to the COVID situation on any bogs I read. Christmas is quite odd….family gathering is one of the greatest joys we have at this time of year. Connecticut is pretty strict….who knows where this”COVID thing” is taking us in the future. God be with you and your family as well as all others who are struggling this holiday season. PEACE !
My apologies for the late delay responding to you! You were in my junk/spam folder with a bunch of other reader comments ????. Merry late Christmas to you too!!
