Do you ever run into a jam during the week when you are pressed for time and have no clue what you are going to feed your kids for dinner? This happens to me all the time. Between after school stuff, work and trying to visit my grandparents at the nursing home, time seems to whiz by during the day and before I know it, I have nothing planned for dinner. We were recently approached by On-Cor to try out some of their frozen meals and I figured, why not? Today I am sharing how to add a little pizzaz to the On-Cor Lasagna with Meat Sauce dinner.
I made the lasagna the other night for my son and I (my husband was working late) and I literally popped it in the oven for 45 minutes (you can also microwave it for about 10 minutes) and it was done. Easy peasy. On-Cor’s new packaging makes it easier for consumers to understand exactly what they are feeding their families. No squinting in the grocery aisle trying to read the back of a box to see what you are feeding your family.
I am normally a little skeptical of frozen food but this tasted really good! I picked up a few garlic bread twists (garlic bread would work too) from the grocery store and mixed up a quick spinach salad while the lasagna was cooking. Did you know that On-Cor has been bringing families together for dinner with their hearty entrées for more than 70 years? That’s a long time!
The fact that I didn’t have to prepare anything besides the salad was key because I was able to do some laundry while I waited for the lasagna to cook! Does anyone else struggle with laundry? It seems like it never goes away. Life’s demanding enough and dinner shouldn’t be. On-Cor does the prep work, so you can take care of other things that need to be done while dinner is cooking.
The meal was prepared in no time and my picky food eating son loved it. His words exactly, “mom we need to buy this again.” One feature I love is all On-Cor entrées have no monosodium glutamate (MSG) added. I picked up my entrée at our local Market 32 and you can also use their store locator to find a store near you.
