I don’t know where the time is going but now that we gained an hour due to Daylight Savings Time, it’s dark so much earlier. I will admit, I am not a fan of it getting dark so early. I love longer days but that’s the way it goes right? I recently partnered with CREE LED Bulbs, a company that leads the LED lighting revolution and is making energy-wasting traditional lighting technologies obsolete through the use of energy-efficient, environmentally friendly LED lighting. We are planning on installing recessed lighting off of our foyer where we enter our home but until then, we have a lonely pretty brass lamp that lights our way. Do you want to save some money with us? We are swapping out all of our bulbs and replacing with Cree LED bulbs.
“Home Energy Savings” is a term that many, including us, could do better with. The end of Daylight Saving Time marks shorter days and longer nights, which means you’ll be leaving the lights on longer. One easy way to shave energy costs during this time of year is by switching to LED lighting.
The Cree LED bulb is actually pretty cute and looks like none other. You can find the entire CREE bulb line up at The Home Depot.
The softest prettiest glow shines when the light is on.
Living with four generations of family under one roof, we certainly have our fair share of lights to swap out. I love the fact that these bulbs will require less changes as their life expectancy is on average 23 years. 23 years! What!!!?. Good grief, that is a long time! These bulbs would be perfect for a hard to reach place that requires a ladder to change the bulb. Imagine not needing to replace the bulb for years? I must say, that is a pretty nice feature.
The natural warm glow is beautiful at night and everything around it is clear and bright. The objects that surround the light look like their natural color and best of all, these bulbs contain no mercury and are dimmable. Be sure to head over to The Home Depot and grab a few Cree bulbs of your own and you will see just what I mean, they are keepers!
Disclosure: I am a brand ambassador for Cree Bulbs. I was provided with complimentary bulbs and compensation. All opinions and words are 100% my own. These bulbs are fantastic!
