Happy Birthday dad! Today, my dad turns 63 years old. It’s so strange to think of him as 63. I think I will always think of him in his 40’s because then I’m really only in my late teens early 20’s that way. We celebrate birthdays with family. Tonight, my grandmother is making a big dinner and we will all eat together and this weekend, my mom will have a cake and ice cream party with everyone when my brother, sister-in-law and niece come to visit. My brother lives about an hour from us so Saturday night is the night we all get together.
My dad is a pretty simple guy who likes pretty simple things. We usually give him a gift card to a restaurant or Home Depot. Nothing to crazy. He is the kind of guy that would be happy with just a “happy birthday.” My mom will have to show him this blog post because he barely knows how to turn on the computer on, never mind get to our website. He still doesn’t understand our blog and why we have one. ha.
