We have 3 AC units in our new yard that are currently disguised by shrubs. Shrubs are a great way to hide things like AC units or garbage barrels but shrubs can be pricey and also can take years to mature where they would be big enough to hide anything. Our landscape is one of the things that attracted me to our new house as it’s mature and fully grown.

At our previous home, the AC units were right on our back patio and stuck out like a sore thumb.

We made ours to hide our trash can at our season campsite where we our camper and park model home for four years.  This is our first summer not heading to the Lake and it feels a little strange to be honest. Even though the camp was literally 5 minutes from our house, we would spend the entire summer there (basically move in) once school was out for the summer. It was direct waterfront on a great full recreational lake and we will definitely miss it. I am hoping once the snow goes away and the weather gets warmer, those feelings of missing the camp will fade once we can get outside at our new house, open the pool and set up the patio.

These are great ideas. Those who live in areas with homeowners associations will want to look at their rules and bylaws before going this route but these are usually acceptable in most areas. I love that the lattice is a quick solution and not too outrageously priced to use. Thank you for sharing again so those of us who were not familiar with it can be aware.
