Today I’m sharing DIY Halloween Witch Decor in 30 Minutes. Halloween witch decor can be fun to make especially if you love DIY Halloween crafts! This halloween craft idea involves cutting out the center of a faux pumpkin from Michaels Crafts and making witch legs with orange striped stockings.
Halloween Witch Decorations
If you search google for halloween witch decor and decorations, you will find several that you can purchase at Amazon, Walmart, Grandin Road and even Home Depot. I searched high and low for a cauldron with witch legs and the only ones I found were expensive and honestly, not that impressive. So I decided to make my own!
How to Make Halloween Witch Decor with a Cauldron
To create this DIY halloween witch decoration with a scary theme, you will need a pair of halloween socks, poly fiber fill or paper towels (to fill the socks), stickers, faux large pumpkin, googly eyes and white spray paint. DIY Halloween decorations are so much fun!
The small baby pumpkins are freaked out to say the least! I love how the googly eyes brought the tiny gourd pumpkins to life.
Step 1. Simply cut the stem off a faux pumpkin.
Halloween Witches Decor with Faux Mist
Note: Faux Cauldron mist can be made from dry ice or you can create a faux mist like I did with white poly fiber.
Step 2. Once the top was removed, I spray painted the pumpkin white and filled my socks. I also decided to add a bit of the polyfill (you can get polyfill in any craft store) around the top of the pumpkin to create a boiling smokey look. I mean, the witch is cooking right? 😉
Step 3. Add sticker to make a halloween saying. I saw this cute saying at Michaels on a sign and thought it would be perfect for the front of our halloween pumpkin. There are so many fun stickers to choose from, these ended up perfect for a fun halloween look. I added a witch hat to pumpkin from HomeGoods and he was good to go.
Isn’t this the cutest DIY pumpkin witches cauldron for Halloween?
Step 4. Dress up your tabletop with the witches cauldron, small pumpkins and Fall spooky decor!
Do you like my black shoes?
They fit the orange and black striped witches legs perfectly!
Witch Decorations For Halloween
Halloween witch decorations do not need to be “witches.” The legs sticking out from the pumpkin scream witch all day long!
