Is your kitchen island the hub of house? Today I am sharing our convenient kitchen island Fall snack station that I created last week full of Fall goodies. Our kitchen island usually ends up being a catch-all for “stuff” and before you know it, it’s a mess. It was fun creating a Fall snack station for the kids to enjoy.

A quick way to add seasonal flare to a counter top is to cover it with a tablecloth.
Depending on what season you are decorating for, you can use a cake stand base to create height for your decor. I added an orange hand towel, fresh cut clippings of dried grass from my flower beds and layered pumpkins on top.
The orange plaid tablecloth from Homegoods coordinated nicely with the Harvest bakeware. Even if you do not have Harvest bakeware, white and orange would work nicely too.

Your kitchen island is a convenient place to set up any kind of snack station or beverage station. If you do not have a kitchen island, you could always use the top of a counter.
If you have the opportunity to add a cute seasonal sign, do it! The sign adds a touch of personality to the snack station and the kids got a kick out of the dog driving the truck.

If you are having friends over, it’s always nice to add the sweet treats to a pretty seasonal dish. For example, I added pumpkin donuts to the ceramic loaf pan.
The donuts fit perfectly!

How to: 15 minute bar cart setup
The bar cart above that I showed a couple weeks ago filled with Summer snacks and drinks would also look cute with apple cider, sweet seasonal treats along with pumpkins and mums for decoration. This black metal bar cart is perfect for indoors and outdoors.
You can find the recipe for the pumpkin cookies over on the HomeGoods blog.
I thought that was the cutest saying on the truck, Wigglebutts pumpkin patch 🤗 Often times when creating a snack station or even a beverage station, the little touches are what really add that extra pizzaz. In this case, lit candles, fresh greenery or flowers along with faux seasonal berries spread through out the snack station help create a cozy look and make it interesting.

I really like the bakeware and coffee mug! I never thought about putting a tablecloth on our island before. I like the way it looks on your island.
Thank you Brenda! I never really thought about it either until we moved to our new house and I am not the biggest fan of our countertops so I figured, why not cover it! -ha. Well , temporarily 🙂
