Two topics today, best sales Christmas in July and grandparent thoughts. You know, sometimes things get a little crazy. Sometimes they get a lot crazy. I often wonder how life will be once my grandparents pass on and are not here anymore. I never even really considered it a possibility, them not being here, until this year. This entire year has been nothing but ups and downs with my grandparents with regard to their health and emotional well being. My gram’s body is a mess and is being eaten by cancer and my gramp’s brain is a mess being eaten by dementia. If we could marry together my gramp’s body with my gram’s brain, we would have one good human. Just crazy……. You can catch up on my grandmother’s latest cancer diagnosis here. She is still in rehab working on building up her strength. Fingers crossed she gets a small miracle.

My blog posts are going to be a mix of everything moving forward, at least until we get some normalcy again. I am not sure when that will ever be but for now, they will be a mix of decorating, projects and family updates sprinkled in. I am not sure if you have noticed but July is the month where most big retailers run huge sales. Yes, Christmas in July. It’s mostly geared towards back to school bedding, clothing (My fav Nordstrom), furniture and an array of home decor items.

I get so many emails about furniture and home decor in our home, it’s hard to return many of your questions so today, I have gathered all the rooms in our house that are most popular and have linked all the sale items for you. The biggest, most craziest sale piece we own in our sectional in our family room. It’s usually around $2000 but it’s marked down 32% right now bringing it roughly to $1400. If you are in the market for a sectional, you definitely need to check out ours. It’s super comfy but doesn’t sag once you have sat on it for a while. What I mean is, it holds it form.
