This Annie Sloan Chalk Paint Christmas ornament happened by accident. I mistakenly got paint on it while I was painting a coat hook this afternoon. This clear plastic bulb was on the table along with the other 4 projects I had going on! When the bulb rolled onto my newspaper and got paint all over it I was so mad! But then I was looking at it & it didn’t look that bad. So I painted it with Annie Sloan duck egg blue & then decided to pour a different color inside!

I made a funnel with some scrap card stock & poured a small amount of ASCP Napoleonic Blue paint inside the bulb and swirled it around to cover the inside.

Those are the coat hooks that I was painting ASCP duck egg blue. I then painted the outside of the bulb with one coat ASCP duck egg blue. Once dry I took a sanding block and just sanded off the duck egg.

Once I finished sanding/distressing the bulb, I gave it a quick spray with Krylon silver glitter spray.annie sloan chalk paint ornament 1
