My son always loves eating blog projects. He isn’t a fan of cottage cheese alone but when I pair it with fruit, granola or bake with is as I did when I made our breakfast egg bites and muffins, he seems to like it.

Cottage cheese for breakfast with apples and cinnamon, blueberries or strawberries pair nicely together and to add a little sweetness, I decided to drizzle honey too. You can also flavored granola but just watch the added sugars. I love how many different cottage cheese recipes you can make!

I personally want to try the granola mix with cranberries and raisins.

Cottage Cheese Snacks

Many times I am running to a meeting or on the go and I love the use of mason jars with lids for these kinds of breakfast ideas or snacks. Scooping up a bite of cottage cheese with a cracker is also a quick and easy snack idea.

It’s so easy to mix them up the day or two before and grab them with you need them.

I wouldn’t mix them up more than a day or two though in advance as the granola and fruit may be soggy. I find that one or two days, tops, is the perfect amount of time.

  1. Wow! I never thought of using cottage cheese in so many ways. I eat it plain and have always paired it
with fruit or canteloupe or watermelon.
    Thanks for the ideas!
