Today I am sharing our 5 minute best breakfast cottage cheese and snacks ideas. Cottage cheese happens to be one of my all time favorite snacks and I recently whipped up the best breakfast using cottage cheese, fruit and granola.

Cottage cheese and granola is one of the easiest on the go healthy breakfast ideas and for me and a perfect way to start the day!

One of our favorite ways to enjoy cottage cheese is as a fresh fruit snack. Simply grab a bowl, scoop in some cottage cheese, add your favorite fresh fruits and drizzle a bit of honey or maple syrup for a sweet touch.

This easy snack idea not only tastes great but also nourishes your body with essential nutrients.

Hood Cottage Cheese with fruit (pineapple added) is the perfect flavor for this recipe but if you don’t like pineapple, just use the plain version.

What to eat with cottage cheese

Breakfast should be the most substantial meal of the day, and what better way to kick-start your morning than with cottage cheese?

A cottage cheese breakfast bowl is a delicious snack idea that can be made in minutes. Add a sprinkle of black pepper for a savory twist, or mix in some peanut butter for a creamy and protein-packed breakfast.

If you’re looking for something more filling and low carb, cottage cheese pancakes are another great option. They are a delicious way to incorporate more dairy products into your breakfast, and maple syrup or a drizzle of honey adds just the right amount of sweetness.

Low fat cottage cheese for breakfast is as easy as 1, 2, 3 with simple ingredients.

There is no meal prep for the most part and high protein make this a go-to breakfast for me.

Cottage cheese for breakfast with apples and cinnamon, blueberries or strawberries pair nicely together and to add a little sweetness, I decided to drizzle honey too. You can also flavored granola but just watch the added sugars. I love how many different cottage cheese recipes you can make!

I personally want to try the granola mix with cranberries and raisins.

I think that would be delicious!

Cottage Cheese Snacks

Many times I am running to a meeting or on the go and I love the use of mason jars with lids for these kinds of breakfast ideas or snacks. Scooping up a bite of cottage cheese with a cracker is also a quick and easy snack idea.

It’s so easy to mix them up the day or two before and grab them with you need them.

I wouldn’t mix them up more than a day or two though in advance as the granola and fruit may be soggy. I find that one or two days, tops, is the perfect amount of time.
