Who likes coffee? Coffee happens to be one of my weaknesses in life and I am guilty of having 2 or 3 cups in the morning and then a cup in the afternoon. Whoever invented coffee was a genius. -ha. I guess I could in love with worse things right? Everyone in our family, except the kids, crave that first morning cup of coffee. In fact, we have two coffee pots that are set on a timer for 4:30am so you can imagine, our home is smelling lovely around 4:40am. We recently partnered with New England Coffee to try out their new special blend called Centennial Reserve. You see, New England Coffee is celebrating 100 years of serving great coffee to extraordinary people and of course, we jumped at the chance to give it a try. We are fans of New England Coffee to begin with so it was a no brainer to give the Centennial Reserve a try. Can you imagine, this business started in 1916? I told my grandfather that this company is older than him and he just looked at me and said, “and?” He didn’t find any humor in that. -ha.

New England Coffee’s delicious Centennial Reserve is made from 100% Arabica coffee beans from Kenya and Ethiopia.  We brewed a pot of this coffee a couple days ago and it was delicious. My grandfather and dad both have coffee together in the morning while they watch the news my dad loved the bold smooth flavor. Just what he needs to kick his butt in gear for the day :).

There is something about that first cup of coffee in the morning that I just love. I love waking up to the smell of a fresh pot of coffee and sitting in the dark having my first sip in our family room. I know, I’m a little corny but it’s nice to start the day off with a little peace and quiet and a great cup of coffee. It’s the time of day where I do my best thinking. My mom is the same way. She grabs her cup and heads to the porch. I always laugh to myself when I see her staring into space while she enjoys her morning coffee.

New England Coffee actually started right here in Boston 100 years ago. It’s so cool to be sharing in their 100 year anniversary. Watch this fun video, it’s kind of cute :).

New England coffee is a small company that offers a variety of blends and flavors that can be found in bagged and single serve options on the New England Coffee Shop and at many grocery stores. Be sure to head over to their newly redesigned website and see what other flavors they offer too as well as their Facebook page.

      1. Found it at my local Wal Mart yesterday! Living in Dunkin land, I never noticed it before. Tried it and must say, very good!
