This weekend is the end of our school February vacation. While this school break marks the halfway point of winter, it always puts my mind in a better place knowing that we are now in the home stretch of winter and warmer weather is right around the corner. Weekend projects will start and motivation will come back to our home. haha. I am happy with the organizational projects that we have accomplished so far, the kitchen pantry, craft drawer and the refrigerator project. Now it’s time to do a little painting.

This weekend we are celebrating my niece’s birthday, my grandparents are heading to my grandfather’s sisters 93rd birthday party and I will be finishing up two paint projects, our small master bathroom and the interior door that leads to our porch.

This door needs a little pizazz and I found the perfect color earlier this week. I’ll be sharing this update later next week.

This bathroom is actually our master bathroom that is all mine! ha. This bathroom is original to the house and is very small. When we renovated the old 1970’s pink bathroom, that new bathroom became my husband’s bathroom leaving me with this one to myself. I don’t think I have ever shared this bathroom here on the blog. Over the next few weeks, I will be giving this space a facelift. Enjoy your weekend and I’m sure some of you will be working on your own weekend projects ;).

  1. I can’t wait to see what you do with your bathroom. You always have such good ideas! The first thing I thought of when I saw the picture is how much better it would look if the toilet was next to the window and the sink was where the toilet currently is. I honestly don’t think I’ve ever noticed how ugly the side of a toilet is before – Ha! Good luck and here’s hoping for an early spring!

    1. I agree, the toilet is in the worst place! No such luck though moving it but I agree, I wish it was flip flopped with the vanity. Oh well, I bought a cute little wicker basket to put right next to it so hopefully the eye goes there now when you look in 🙂 ha
