I just wanted to give you an update on my grandfather. Many of you saw the post on our facebook page about him being admitted to the hospital this past Wednesday and have been wondering how he is doing. Thank you for all your emails and comments :). He is a tough o’l buck!
He was admitted for pneumonia and thankfully is coming home today. He swears my grandmother gave it to him (she probably did). My grandmother has been sick as well so she hasn’t seen him in a couple days but I’m sure he will be full of blame when he gets home later today! ha. Trust me, he’s been soaking up all the attention from the nurses at the hospital so he might be in for a rude awakening when he gets home. It won’t take long for both my grandparents to be bickering with each other, I give them an hour ;).
Meet Jessica
What started as a hobby, Jessica’s blog now has millions of people visit yearly and while many of the projects and posts look and sound perfect, life hasn’t always been easy. Read Jessica’s story and how overcoming death, divorce and dementia was one of her biggest life lessons to date.
So glad he is able to come home today! Hopefully he feels 100% soon!
Thanks Ida!
I’m so glad he’s doing better – hope Grandma feels better too!
Thanks Denise. My gram is better as well 🙂
Glad he is feeling better and will be back home!
Me too Nancy! Thank you 🙂
I hope they both get well soon, Jessica. Old age can be tough.
Thank you Winnie!
Hope your grandparents get well very soon. Love your blog
Thanks Donna!
Glad he’s feeling better! See he’s got his Dunkin’ coffee! That always lifts my spirit!
His smile says it all, glad to be going home!!,
I agree! 🙂
Glad to hear he’s on the mend Jessica! I bet it will be comforting to have them bickering again…at first! LOL
Take care,
Wen
Thanks Wendy!
Glad to hear he is doing well 🙂
You are so blessed to be living with your grandparents… My mom and dad moved from New Zealand, to the states, away from my grandparents.. The older I get the more resentful am I about her choices to move us kids from the only grandparents we knew. I always wanted to have a big family with lots of extended family for my kids to be around and love… You are living my dream 🙂
