Moms have been enjoying gifts handmade with love from their children since long before the first Mothers’ Day. As a mom, I get so excited when I receive something that one of my children has poured their love and effort and creativity into. As an adult, on the other hand, it’s a little harder to find just the right gift for my own mom when it comes to handmade items. A plaster-of-paris mold of a 29 year old’s hand is not quite as cute as a 5 year old’s hand, for some reason.
With the goal of a handmade gift that I could be proud to present to my mama in mind, I went out looking for some inspiration. What follows are the terrific ideas I found that you can use for making delightful gifts for any Mom. Try any of these projects and you’ll make Mom smile this Mother’s Day.
