The b positive project and some fun magazine news

I got the go ahead last week from Woman’s Day magazine that I could share with all of you that we will be in their upcoming January issue. Yup, all nine of us!  It’s been very hard to keep this secret but a team of 8 people basically lived here in our house for two days in early September. I can’t wait to share the pictures of my dad and gramp getting their hair and makeup done. ha! I think I can share some behind the scene photo’s after Thanksgiving.

Today, I have a little bit different of a post for you. A friend reached out asking me to help spread the word on a community project and I was happy to help.
b Positive Project Distressed Logo

The “b positive project” started right here in New England in 2009 and has grown into a nation-wide brand that believes in promoting positivity. I think the message is pretty clear,
In life, we all have bad days and experience some level of adversity. But it’s our attitude during those tough times that determines our happiness. We all inherently have the choice to “b Positive” – Our simple, yet stylish t-shirts and apparel serve as this reminder.

My friend sent me a t-shirt which is actually pretty cool. It’s a light weight, fitted T that has the distressed logo and I must say, is quit stylish. I’m kind of loving it. I told her it would be my new “DIY” t shirt.

I know, I’m being a dork in this next picture.

If you have a chance, jump over and visit my friend Michele at the b positive blog and show her some love. Oh, and tell her I said hello!

PS. I have been working on a holiday design challenge for Home Depot and just found out that a big o’l store that starts with a “T” will be sending us some holiday goodies to deck out our recent bathroom remodel. Some good stuff to share soon :).
