Our family room is the second most popular place in our home with the kitchen being the first. Our family room is where we eat, play, read and watch our favorite shows. While I loved our winter theme family room, it was time to spring things up and boost the mood with the pops of color. A few weeks ago, Better Homes and Gardens contacted me asking if I would like to share our spring family room and how we use spring elements to decorate our home. We booted winter out a couple weeks ago and brought in some fun navy and coral pillows in an effort to brighten up the room.
Today I am over at the BHG Style Blog sharing more pictures of our spring family room plus gorgeous rooms featuring pops of color, throw pillows and wall art ideas sure to inspire you to get moving on your own spring themed family room. My grandfather was disappointed he couldn’t join me today but I told him, maybe next he can share his decorating tips and tricks over at BHG. 🙂
Come on over and visit, I’ll see you there!
Meet Jessica
What started as a hobby, Jessica’s blog now has millions of people visit yearly and while many of the projects and posts look and sound perfect, life hasn’t always been easy. Read Jessica’s story and how overcoming death, divorce and dementia was one of her biggest life lessons to date.
Did you make the “sea shells” sign? I love it!
Congrats on the BHG feature! I LOVE your living room, and the coral & navy pops are perfect for Spring. Coral is one of my most favourite home decor colours this season!
Thank you, it was fun to add some bright color to the room!
I love all the beautiful bright colors you chose. The shelf with the cloth pics go so well with the bright yellowish/gold curtains. Congratulations on being called by Better Home and Gardens, one of my fav magazines. You deserve to be recognized.
Thank you Sharon!
