Sophisticated Adult Pink + Gold Glamorous Workspace

It’s been a really busy few weeks here and finally, I am sharing my sophisticated adult pink + gold glamorous workspace. When we first moved in, I originally had my old office furniture my modern farmhouse themed office  (from our previous house) in this space and while I loved it, I really wanted a girly glamorous workspace that was bright, fun and super feminine. When Homesense and Homegoods asked if I wanted to create a space featuring how to create an office space on a budget, I jumped at the chance. It couldn’t have come at a better time because as you know, shopping Homegoods is like a treasure hunt. You never know what you might find and same thing goes for Homesense.

My  trip to Homesense in Framingham a couple months ago paid off huge! Not only did I immediately find this amazing sophisticated white and gold desk, but I found this gorgeous pink studded office chair. 

Are you familiar with Homesense? They are the sister store to Homegoods and they have a great selection of furniture, rugs, lighting along with home decor accessories.

One of the things that I love most about the desk is the hardware and the soft close drawers. The bottom drawer has built in filing hangers which provide storage for daily and weekly papers.

The rug is from Homegoods. I had this run in our old house which I featured in our Summer Home Tour last Summer. The rug couldn’t have been more perfect for my new office space and the pink theme. 

Tip: Add a bar cart for office storage 

This bar cart I picked up at Homesense on my 3rd trip while shopping for the project. When I saw the cart I knew I had to have it but wasn’t sure where it was going to go in our house.

Then it dawned on me, my office! I did’t have a filing cabinet system yet that coordinated with my new desk and chair and the gold and blush cart was the perfect storage piece for boxes to store papers and a stand alone filing holder. 

All of the office decorative accessories are from Homegoods along with the wall pinboard and hanging metal rack.

I remember the day I was shopping for the project, it was kind of rainy lousy day and I wasn’t in the best of moods. That quickly changed when I saw this bar cart. Not only is it a great storage piece for my office but it would also look great in our dining room around the holidays.

I couldn’t be more happy with this space and it’s super inspiring when it comes to going to work. I feel like I want to add a comfy  chair to the space as well. I am finding myself wanting to be in here at night when I am watching Hulu and catching up on my soap opera’s 😂.
