Can you believe that Easter is right around the corner? We usually have a family breakfast that my mom and I prepare and of course, it’s full of treats too! Cleaning and cooking is sometimes a daunting task and we are always looking for ways to speed up the process. Not only do we love quick and easy recipes but we love quick cleaning tips too. Easy-Off offered us to try their Easy-Off oven cleaner and I was pleasantly surprised with how fast it cleaned. Spray and wipe. That’s right up my alley. I mean, who has time to spend hours cleaning their oven? Not me! I would much rather be baking something fun for the kids to eat. Cake batter treats are one of the kids favorites although, I think my grandfather might enjoy them just as much. He is the biggest kid of all!

For me, I love when my house is clean and tidy and the same goes for the oven. Food always tastes better when baked in a clean oven ;). I tried out the Easy-Off heavy duty spray and in under 5 minutes, the grease splatter was gone and our oven was ready to go.

Easter Cake Batter Treats

Supply List

  • 1 box vanilla/yellow cake mix don't make the cake according to directions on box
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tsb vanilla
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup sprinkles pastel for Easter

Instructions : Step by Step

  • Mix first 5 ingredients
  • Stir in chips and sprinkles
  • Spray 11x17 pan
  • Spread mixture and add more sprinkles on top if desired
  • Bake 20-25 minutes or until center is done (when knife or toothpick is removed clean)
  • Cool 30-40 minutes
  • Once cool, refrigerate for an hour or two. They are delicious served cold!

Once I cleaned our oven in the main kitchen, my grandmother said, “Jess, I know of another oven that needs to be cleaned!” haha Gram. Is your oven gross and nasty? Try Easy-Off!
