Some of you may have noticed that we have been sharing our dinner and sweet creations here on the blog for the past 2 months. We recently made some changes to the blog to encompass a new page, special for “our kitchen” where you can find all of our dinner recipes and baked goods. Between my mom, me and my grandmother, there is a lot going on in the cooking department!
Since the end of February, we have been trying to share one of our family dinners a week with all of you. Sometimes more and sometimes less. It is amazing how many of you email us and love to see our family posts and multigenerational living experiences. We also have a special page for that topic as well.
You will find crockpot, stove top and baked casseroles featuring our favorite chicken dishes, pork chops and pasta specialties. We are not huge on gourmet, although sometimes we splurge but for the most part, we are all about easy, quick and delicious on a budget!
This week we will be sharing our progress on our flower bed curb appeal project. Thankfully the weather has been in the mid 40’s-50’s, although some rain, but we have been able to get some much needed yard work done as the weather has cooperated for the most part. I cannot wait to start planting some spring flowers :). My grandmother also is anxious to get her outdoor space setup on their deck. I am thinking she is in need of a mini deck makeover. What do you think, should I get busy on a fun outdoor makeover for her? 😉
Meet Jessica
What started as a hobby, Jessica’s blog now has millions of people visit yearly and while many of the projects and posts look and sound perfect, life hasn’t always been easy. Read Jessica’s story and how overcoming death, divorce and dementia was one of her biggest life lessons to date.
Yes a makeover would be good . But it would be fun to see her ideas too. Kinda like taking what she has chosen and putting a modern spin to her ideas. It would be nice to see it be easy reproducible DIY ‘a with products that are easy to find 🙂
I agree! 🙂
