Anything sweet and crunchy, is a sure bet when giving a gift. Harry and David makes a slew of arrangements that would be perfect for anyone, even kids. You can find Harry and David online or in most local malls. I actually saw a table setup in Macy’s yesterday while taking my son to see Santa.

  1. Sorry, this is about a different post. LOVE your gray striped Dash and Albert indoor/outdoor rug. I almost bought the same one for our family room like a bazillion times. But, I am indecisive and afraid having never felt it in person. What does it feel like? My kids lay on the floor ALL the time and are used to the feel of a wool rug. Is it soft to the touch??? Plastic feeling? Would you lay on it to watch TV? Thank you so much!!!! Love your style!!!

    1. Hi, the rug is beautiful but if you are looking for a thick cushy rug, this may not be for you. This is a thinner rug that you can roll up easily. It is extremely well made and VERY durable. It’s a soft cotton, NOT plasticy at all. It’s perfect for a kids space b/c it’s an indoor/outdoor so you can clean it easily. I purchased a nice thick soft rug pad for underneath so it’s not like sitting right on the hard floor, if that makes any sense 🙂 . We have dogs and 3 kids so while the soft wool rugs are comfy to sit on, they are not practical for us as they are super expensive to clean and they hold the smell (from the dogs) and they don’t clean up well for spills. I love this rug and would definitely recommend it 🙂 Just buy a soft cushy rug pad as well as the carpet tape for the edges so nobody trips 🙂
