Today, I’m stepping a bit off the usual path to share a special update with you. You might recall an instagram post from over a year ago where I mentioned that my mom’s friend gave Jim and I a tip, about a local family who was considering selling nearly 50 acres right in our town.
What started as a simple heads-up turned into a nearly two-year journey for Jim, who worked tirelessly with the town to get approval to subdivide this large parcel into smaller lots.
Let’s take a look at the 7 buildable house lots and plans.
Land For Sale Sutton Ma With House Build
I’m excited to announce that we’re now presenting six beautiful lots for sale in one of the most sought after areas of our town.
Let’s go on a journey of how this story started.
Remember the ranch house remodel that we shared last year?
Well that was a home that was owned by the same family who was selling this larger parcel across the street.
Jim first bought the larger parcel in 2021 and then purchased the ranch house in 2022. I forget the exact time but that’s the gist of it!
Fast forward to today, the almost 50 acres is now comprised of 5 house lots which includes two frontage lots and 3 retreat lots.
A bonus retreat lot across the street (which is absolutely gorgeous by the way) will also be available, making this entire project a total of 6 buildable lots coming to the market soon.
If you live local, you know that land is a hot commodity and finding a new construction home under 1 million dollars is almost impossible.
Now don’t come at me with hate mail because I mention that under 1 million dollars is impossible. You need to remember that we live in Massachusetts so it is what it is 🤷♀️.
Want to get in early before they hit the market?
If you live locally and know someone in the market who is looking for a new construction home or land, reach out to me directly on Facebook, Instagram or shoot me an email (jessica (at) fourgenerationsoneroof (dot) com.
Transitional Modern Farmhouse Design
Here is a peek at what we are offering.
Unique opportunity to work with customer local builder (Jim!) who specializes in ICF construction. If you aren’t sure what ICF (insulated concrete forms) construction is, it’s essentially the cadillac of home construction. If you want energy efficient, you want ICF!
Side Note: I haven’t announced Jim’s new website until now (it’s not 100% complete as someone (me…) needs to finish uploading interior images of the Fairway and Putnam ….but it’s on my list to do! You can read all about ICF on the new website.
Design and construct YOUR dream home or CUSTOMIZE THIS EXACT HOUSE PLAN in one of Sutton’s most coveted locales!
This beautiful modern farmhouse design features an amazing floor plan, approximately 2000 square feet of one floor living with an option to add a large bonus room or additional bedroom above the 2 car garage.
You can’t go wrong with the manageable square footage, especially with insane rising cost in living expenses.
A beautiful open kitchen, dining and living space with a large master suite on one of the house and the remaining bedrooms and additional bathroom on the opposite end of the house.
A spectacular farmers porch with modern features provides a cozy spot to relax and enjoy the scenery.
Let’s not forget the private historic setting the street offers while still providing fast easy access to local highways.
These lots and home design come with a price point that lets you start with a manageable square footage and cost, build some equity, and then, if you choose, have Jim add on to your home later. It’s a win win!
We also listed another lot for sale in town late last week with the same house plan, you can see that one here on the MLS. This particular lot features a beautiful long wooded driveway with the house being set far off the road. It’s a beauty!
Stay tuned, once they are live on the MLS, I’ll share the link here
