Just popping in real quick to share the first gram Facebook live episode (-ha), hospice and weekend sales. She was so funny when I told her so many of you commented, messaged and emailed me saying hello to her. Did you see the Facebook live post? If not , watch it below. Gram Live on Facebook
My gram has now been prescribed liquid morphine (pill under the tongue) to help with her pain. The cancer in her hip and throat are really doing a number on her but the pain is not that bad she said. There is a double edged sword though with that level of pain meds, she is looped out of her mind and very confused sometimes. She seems to be worse first thing in the morning and at night before bed. She definitely says some pretty funny things and while she has always been funny, the pain meds make her say some “really” funny things. She told me the other day, never in a million years did she think she would be acting like she was on drugs. She is so swollen and full of fluid which isn’t good but she seems somewhat comfortable so I guess that’s all we can ask for at this point. My mom took them both out on the porch a couple days ago at The Nursing Home and they loved the fresh air.

Aww, how sweet! Thanks for sharing that video, it made me smile. I also like the picture of your grandparents on the porch. The nursing home has a really nice porch, I think it would help people feel more at home.
