It appears this is the week of a “year in review” in the blogosphere so I decided to join the festivities! I started blogging the end of August this year so while I don’t have tons to show, we did have a pretty interesting four months here at “Four Generations One Roof” . A special project to share is our barn {closet} doors we made. This was our (my dad, gramp & I) first “joint collaboration” documented in the blogosphere. We have done many projects together throughout the years but I never stopped to take pictures and notes! Needless to say, my dad & gramp thought I was crazy!

Below is a collage of tutorials, projects & an exciting moment that happened because of the “little o’l blog” in the past four months!

It’s been an exciting four months in the “blogosphere”! From learning to create a website to having a camera crew in my dining room for a television feature, it’s been insane! I have also “virtually” met so many wonderful bloggers & readers it is just amazing. I hope to meet some of you in 2012! Being a stay at home mom, your interaction with people is sometimes limited. Blogging has opened up an entire world for me that I didn’t even know existed! Looking forward to 2012 with all of you! Smile

  1. I am right there with you on a whole new world opening up. I started my blog for my refinishing furniture passion and never realized how many wonderful and inspirational people I would meet! It's like having your cake and eating it too 😉

I am so glad to have found your blog, I always enjoy reading your posts. I look forward to more posts in the new year and hope you and your Family have a Happy New Year! Loved the ABC article on your family! If I could I would buy a big old farm house in the French Country side and have my Mom and family live with me. I know my kids would love it lol.

LOVE the barn door! Your inspiration is my inspiration for our master bathroom door. The door swings into our nightstand and just takes up room! Yours looks great with the shelving!

  6. Wow! So much accomplished in just 4 short months! Wishing you the best in 2012
