Today I am sharing my favorite burlap curtains. When I shared how to make burlap curtains, I had no idea how popular that post would be. I guess burlap pretty much matches everything, so people love adding it to their homes when they can!
Burlap curtains provide a neutral backdrop for decorating and add texture to a room.
If you have been around here for long, you know that I love to make something if I can save a few dollars here and there. That was certainly the case with these burlap curtains.
This room had over ten windows, but I was able to make my own curtains in a snap for $55 in fabric. Crazy savings and these are no-sew. That is right friends, you don’t even have to know how to sew or have any kind of machine to make these. Pins, an iron and steam a seam tape will have your curtains ready to go in no time.
What if you have no time at all even to tackle this simple DIY?
No worries, I’ve gathered some of my favorite burlap curtains that you can purchase and they are ready to hang!

West Elm also has affordable curtain options that are similar to burlap as well.
If you are a burlap curtain lover, you know that they add great texture to any space and one of the best features (in my opinion) is that they allow the light to still flow through the room. Burlap curtains are timeless and will never go out of style. Best of all, they coordinate with just about any decor for those of you who are like me, changing out styles (pillows, rugs and home decor) shouldn’t be a problem. These are just a few of my favorite burlap curtains but if you google them, you will find more.

I love your house! I love all the generations living under one roof. Doesn’t the burlap smell?
Leanne
Thank you! I actually sprayed my burlap drapes (once they were made) with water and then ironed them using the steamer part of the iron. It helped tremendously with the smell. After a day or so once they were hanging, there was no smell. I spread a big huge quilt on our family room floor to iron them on. ha
Love hearing about your family.
