Family Fun with Capri Sun

This past weekend my grandparents renewed their wedding vows in celebration of their 64th wedding anniversary. 64 years of marriage is insanely hard to comprehend considering I have only been married for 8 years! The vow ceremony took place in our backyard followed by a luncheon for family and friends. My mom and I were responsible for the luncheon and family fun activities which meant a variety of food and drinks for all ages. Capri Sun Super V Fruit and Vegetable Juice Drink is a favorite beverage amongst the kids in our family so, of course, we had a mix of apple and berry Capri Sun Super V pouches on hand for the kiddos. 
Capri Sun Super V is a fruit and vegetable juice drink with no artificial preservatives, colors or flavors. The kids were pretty excited when I bought these for the party. One of the girls had never tried this brand. Her response was, “this tastes too good to have fruits and vegetables in it.” I told her after she drank it :). 
I try to ensure that I always have healthy foods and drinks available for the all the kids. What I love about the Capri Sun Super V is it has 1 combined serving of fruits and vegetables*. Don’t get me wrong, this is not a substitute for eating fresh fruit and vegetables, but a great alternative during a family fun party or kids’ special gathering. 
I don’t know about you but getting vegetables or fruit in a child on a daily basis is sometimes difficult. Can you tell my son is a little annoyed with his giddy sisters and cousin above? Ha. Being the only boy in the mix makes him crazy sometimes!

Great to know! Growing up, I drank Capri Sun, but over the last several years, I’ve been avoiding it, as I thought it was full of artificial stuff. Might have to check out these new ones! Another question, though: have they become any easier to open? (Maybe it’s just me…)

Your son’s face in that pic is priceless Jessica!! We only buy the Super-V version at our house!! My kids love it and I love feeling sneaky about getting the veggies and fruits in them w/o them knowing. LOL!

We ALWAYS bought Capri Sun for our kids’ lunches. Even after my daughter graduated high school and moved out she would come by and sneak one out of the package LOL Love that there’s veggies in there too!
my girls LOVED Capri Suns when they were younger! we used to find those little straws all over the house – the cat we had at the time LOVED to play with them! lol
I think I need to pick up a few boxes for the party we are having next weekend!
I’m glad you posted this, Jesse. I had no idea that Capri Sun made a fruit/veggie drink now. With my kids grown, I don’t notice these in the store but hubby and I travel to see our son. These would be perfect on the road, better for us than sodas and much easier to store in the cooler. Thanks for the heads up ’cause we’re leaving tomorrow on a visit.

loving the mp artificial colors, flavors and no preservatives. I used to really not like the all the colors that used to drip on my kids clothes when they were young! Smart thinking Capri Sun!
This brings back so many memories, Capri Sun used to be one of my favorite cold summer treats! I need to try these again!
