A few weeks ago I shared our pool house makeover and how to plank a wall tutorial. I recently decided to switch out the pink and blue theme and try a yellow chevron pattern, compliments of Wayfair. Decorating with a yellow colored chevron, Wayfair calls this pillow corn chevron, gave the pool house such a different look! It’s amazing what changing a few key color pieces can do for a room. Pillows are the easiest and quickest way to make a change. Here is a sneak peak of the room.
Come visit me today over at Wayfair where I am guest posting and sharing decorating ideas on a budget in their “idea lounge”. The Idea Lounge at Wayfair is a great resource for budget decorating tips and ideas for all spaces in your home. They even share “how to get the look” featuring items that you can purchase on a budget. Sometimes it’s nice to have it all gathered in one place for you . It takes the guess work out of it. Do you know what I mean? Decorating a room, especially when you are on a budget, can be extremely overwhelming and sometimes paralyzing. When I feel like that, I get nothing accomplished. Yes, I do feel that way sometimes when I am getting ready to start a makeover.
I was thrilled when they asked if I would like to try out a few key color pieces from their decor items in our pool house and share how changing a few key accessories and colors can quickly change the look of a room. Are you loving the yellow chevron pattern pillow? I am! It’s a rainy day here in Boston so I would love some company today over at Wayfair, where I am sharing more pictures of our pool house and it’s new look. See you there!
