I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! It’s hard to believe another one has come and gone. All that work decorating, shopping, wrapping and boom, it’s over.
As I sit and have my coffee this morning and reflect on how lucky we are, I am kind of sad that the holiday is over.
Anyone else ever feel like this after Christmas?
Oh and the fact that we have seven trees and a crazy amount of decor to take down might have something to do with that!-ha.
Here are some behind the scenes pictures of our Christmas Eve and Christmas Day festivities.
Kids and my mom in our other kitchen preparing the desserts.
Now they are helping prepare the Feast of the Seven Fishes.
Of course, the New England Patriots on Christmas Eve.
He just found out we are all going to Disney.
The girls and my dad’s reaction to Disney.
Sprinkling reindeer food.
Every year, all the kids pile in my son’s bedroom, we read a Christmas Story and then they go to sleep and wait for Santa.
Christmas morning. The calm before the storm.
He is very excited Santa came.
My grandfather Christmas morning.
We will be popping in a little bit this week (and later today with our favorites from the 1/2 yearly Nordstrom Sale) with a couple posts but for the most part, we are taking this week off and will be back in 2017!

WOW! Everyone is going to Disney?? The ultimate in having fun. The kids really look excited, even your dad. The salmon looks delicious, even though it is not cooked a good piece of fish can be detected in any state. I want all of you to enjoy the rest of the holiday season. Don’t fret, Jessica, with a group that size give them all a box and a room and it will be done in no time at all. You just relax and orchestrate with a cup of coffee or hot cocoa, lol. To me the season doesn’t end until the day after New Year’s Day. Hugs to all and TFS.
