Here is the room now. A playroom for the kids (this picture is a couple years old) and a walkthrough to the back patio. The steel poles will be covered with faux wood columns and painted white. These are not the best pictures but unfortunately, the pictures I took of this room “as a playroom” were lost on my computer when it crashed. I was lucky to find these. ha!
Here is a picture I snapped quickly last night with my cell phone. This is the other side of the room.
My mom’s den will hopefully be done in the next few weeks. It’s coming up soon on the list of projects, unless of course something crazy happens and we get delayed. That happens all the time, I’m sure you can relate :). I think they gold and brass accents are going to look fabulous in her space and the “Grammy cave” will be a perfect place for her to hide :).

That desk looks like one you can buy at IKEA. It is the type were you buy the legs and top separately to customize it for your needs.
You are right! Looks very similar 🙂
Love these plans for the “grammy cave!” Can’t wait to see what you do with the space!
Where is the gold divider from?! It’s so gorgeous. Please let me know!
