Beautiful New Maple Hardwood Flooring Foyer Entrance

Today I am sharing our beautiful new maple hardwood flooring in our foyer entrance off the garage. You may remember  this past summer, we installed new hardwood flooring by Shaw Floors in our family room and wow, it came out so good! We ended up having a bit leftover so we decided to use the remaining amount in our foyer side entrance and we couldn’t be happier with the floor.

The prior floor had the ugliest outdoor black carpet that my dad chose like 100 years ago. I mean, it definitely hid the dirt but oh was it ugly. No matter what I did, I couldn’t make it look good. I tried a variety of area rugs on top and it still never looked good. 

Here is the foyer before.

We decided to use the same Shaws Epic Plus Flooring in Fairbanks Maple that we used in our family room. 

The color is absolutely gorgeous and the install was literally a 5 hours total.

I love how the floor color looks with the glass foyer doors that we installed 2 years ago. It’s amazing how flooring can drastically change the look of a room. 

The wood floor against the stone wall is so pretty when the sun light is shining through.
