Do you guys like Steak Sliders? During the summer, when the grill is on our patio, we like to make steak sliders and the kids love them. We live in New England though so as you can imagine, there is not a lot of grilling during the winter. When I am pressed for time or do not have access to the grill, 20 Minute Steak Sliders with melted cheese is the the perfect quick meal. When my son is having a bunch of kids over too, these are quick and easy and they seem to always love them. A few months ago, we partnered with On-Cor to share quick and easy meal ideas and this month, we are sharing The On-Cor Gravy and 6 Salisbury Steaks Dinner.

These 20 Minute Steak Sliders with Melted Cheese couldn’t be easier to make. I picked up a bag of fresh steak rolls from my local grocery store and a few condiments ranging from ready-to-serve Horseradish Sauce, Deli – Sliced Roasted Red Bell Peppers and an Artichoke & Onion Bruschetta Spread. I simply followed the directions on the back of the box (I microwaved) and once the steaks were cooked, I spread one roll with the Horseradish and the other with the Bruschetta. I sliced the already cooked steaks into thin pieces and added to the roll. I finished by adding provolone deli cheese to the top and heated in the toaster over for 3 minutes until the cheese was melted (you could also microwave for 20 seconds). My son loves red bell peppers so I topped his with already made jarred peppers.

If you saw last months post, a 20 Minute Chicken Parmesan Sandwich, you know that I mentioned how I love that On-Cor’s packaging makes it easier to understand exactly what you are buying. I have zero time when I am in the grocery store so for me, I love that the front of the box shares a lot of the dietary information. A number of entrées now have 20 percent more meat, including Salisbury Steak, Sliced Turkey and Char-Broiled Patties.

Who would have thought that a frozen meal, could be so gourmet right? On-Cor has been bringing families together for over 70 years and they have the perfect selection of meal ideas for “one of those nights” when you have limited time. All in all, this entire dinner took about 20 minutes to make. If you are anything like me, you tend to multitask and use your time wisely. As many of you know, we just moved a couple weeks ago so I took the time to clean up our kitchen and wash some of the cabinets. I won’t lie, with Spring right around the corner, I am feeling more motivated to clean and get things in order.

This is the first time I am sharing our new kitchen too. As many of you know, our last kitchen was modern and white but this kitchen is actually growing on me. It’s the furthest thing from a modern white kitchen that you get. It’s a traditional, very elegant styled kitchen and I think with a few minor changes, we can make it our own. Stay tuned, more house projects are on the horizon. Be sure to enter the giveaway below for your own cleaning package from On-Cor. The package is valued at $200 and it’s probably one of my favorite packages I have received in a while.

No shame – my go to quick dinner is always Blue Box Mac & Cheese or Chicken Nuggets and Fries/Tots. I’m definitely adding this to my recipe arsenal to up my game. ????

  2. One of my favorite fast and easy meals is actually made with On Cor sliced turkey in gravy. I like to take slices of Texas toast and top it with pre-made mashed potatoes and the turkey in gravy for a quick Turkey Manhattan. I’ll steam a veggie in the microwave and it’s a fast and easy meal that everyone enjoys.

Can’t wait to see what you do with this kitchen. I loved previous one.

  3. usually a fritatta or some kind of pasta with veggies mixed in

  4. Using leftover rotisserie chicken, I can whip up and alfredo sauce and boil pasta for a quick chicken alfredo.

  5. My quick meal is usually a sandwich with a soup …a.tuna melt with vege soup, or a grilled cheese with tomato soup. If there’s time to bake it,I love the creamy yummyness of On-Cor Mac and Cheese.

  6. Chicken fajitas are my go-to recipe for a quick and EZ meal. I cook the meat in a wok with chunky mild salsa, then add the goodies (veggies) and cook those for a short time so they are tender-crisp. Spoon on to soft or corn taco shell, add shredded cheese, a dollop of sour cream and serve. Yummy and SO EZ and quick.

My easy, fast go to meal is chicken fajitas. On Sundays I prep so I always have diced “cooked” chicken on hand along with plenty of veggies already cut up. All I do is place a bit of olive oil in pan throw in a few green/red peppers and onions cook on high for 5 mins. Set aside when completed. Place a tortilla in the same pan cook one side til browned, 1 min. Flip and throw some veggies, chicken and light shredded cheese. Fold cook, 1 min. Place on plate with a spoonful of sour cream, tortilla chips on side w/salsa. Enjoy! 10 mins or less, boom!
