Winter Master Bedroom Refresh

Today we are sharing our winter master bedroom. It was a little tough taking down all the Christmas decorations in our master bedroom. This was the first year I decorated our bedroom for Christmas and I absolutely loved the red and white bedding along with the tiny twinkling tree. BUT, Christmas is over so time to get back to normal. You may have already seen these pillows in a previous post from last week. I love the Mr. Right & Mrs. Always Right pillows. I decided to put the existing sheet set and white duvet back on the bed and added a tan blanket from our storage closet. Blankets are so expensive so I always try to keep a few on hand that we can mix and match when changing out seasons. My mom has a bunch too that I tend to “borrow” as needed. -ha.
I found these fabulous navy patterned pillows at HomeGoods and paired them with the white fluffy pillows we used on our sofa for Christmas. I knew when I bought the white fluffy pillows, they were transitional and could be used year round. I love the texture.
Instead of buying a whole new sheet set, I used the white set I had from our bedroom makeover last summer. Sometimes just swapping out a blanket, pillow cases and adding a couple throw pillows will do the trick and help you stay within a small budget.
Another fun was this adorable silk flower in a vase.

I switched things up a little on our bureau with vases and accents.
Here is the room from this past summer. You can shop this look here.

We hope you enjoyed our winter master bedroom refresh. As Mr. Groundhog said earlier today, “Spring is right around the corner.” Be sure to check out the teenage girls bedroom makeover post we shared a few days ago. It’s dramatic!
