We’ve got a three day weekend coming up here and I can hardly wait! Memorial Day weekend is what we consider the big kickoff to summer here in America. It’s a time that many families and friends get together for reunions and parties. Our family loves spending the first long weekend of summer at the lake. Today I wanted to share some of our favorite berry recipes and fun ways you can incorporate them in your upcoming long week plans.
You know how Thanksgiving starts off the winter holidays? Well, Memorial weekend is it’s warm weather equivalent–right down to all of the delicious food! Grill recipes usually get all of the attention this time of year, but I have to admit, there’s something else I get more excited about: berries. Strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries…..I can taste them now! It’s berry season, and I couldn’t be happier. I’m thinking that there’s got to be a way to serve them up at every meal over Memorial weekend. I’m pretty sure you’ll be thinking the same thing after you see these delicious recipes I found.
