If you have been following along, you know I am in the middle of a major revamp of our Family Room. I was originally going to just change the paint color in hopes of achieving a more “cottagey/sophisticated farmhouse” look. Of course, once I got started I couldn’t stop as I have been adding planks to the walls & making cabinets!
My dad says, “why do you keep taking pictures……what is wrong with you?” He still doesn’t know what a blog is This is what it looked like at the beginning of the week, it’s been primed and is now ready to paint. Any suggestions on paint color? I’m thinking Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in French Linen. Off to find a piece of thick reclaimed lumber today for the top! Wish me luck I spent yesterday afternoon cutting out faux drawers for the front…..oueeee that was not fun . I will do a tutorial on this cabinet in probably 3 years ……JK! Soon!
So that’s what I have been doing for the past couple weeks! Oh and didn’t Shari at Little Blue Deer do a great job on my new blog design? If you want customer service & talent, check her out because I was a pain in the butt & she ROCKED!
Finally, a long overdue “THANKYOU” to Beth at Home Stories A to Z . Since I started my blog in August, she has been such a great inspiration & wealth of knowledge! She has helped me on endless accounts with things I have no clue about in the blogosphere! She is my “go to chic” & she never fails…..although I probably drive her crazy sometimes. Best of all, she is the mastermind behind my new blog name, “Four Generations One Roof”!
Hope you all have a great weekend!
