I plan to spend the holiday season with both sides of the family and eating lots of delicious food!
I’m making a trip to the great northwest for a stay with my son. Lots of snow, and a fun road trip!
I will be going on a country line dance cruise with new friends I met in Florida, after moving here 3 yrs. ago!
Heading home to Alabama for a much needed weekend with family and friends ; )! **fingers crossed**
Planning on heading to Alabama for a much needed weekend with my family and friends! **fingers crossed**
Holidays mean having all our “generations under one roof”, just for one day! God bless !
Plan on spending Christmas with friends n family
Until this year we were a part time multi generational living family. This year changes everything with the grandparents coming full-time due to them needing several different medical procedures. This will be our first full family Christmas in almost 25 years.. It will be incredible to have them home to celebrate with.
Heading to Idaho to be with our daughter and son in law. From CA so can’t wait to see the snow again!
My daughter and I went Christmas shopping for decorating items Wednesday at the Westboro Home Goods. We hit the jack pot and did not need to shop anywhere else! I ended up giving my daughter her Christmas money early because she found so much stuff.
I am decorating my house today and will be enjoying the holidays on Manchaug Pond. Happy Holidays!!!
wow that is awesome!!!! yay!!!
We are moving to a new house soon and really excited that our pregnant daughter in law and son will be coming north for Christmas for two weeks! This will be our first grandbaby due to arrive in March, 2019 and we are over the moon excited! We’re always happy when our three kids and their spouses (and our daughters boyfriend) can all hang out together and play games with the family and make tons of memories! Blessing to you and your family for a wonderful Christmas!
We plan to spend the holidays at home with family and friends. Our house is the go-to place to gather, so there is always lots going on.
A lot of reading and binge watching !
My kids and I have 3 weeks off together. We usually play board games, and sometimes make a puzzle. We also like to go around and look at all the Christmas lights.
We enjoy family traditions like favorite foods, decorating together, playing lots of Christmas music and singing along, and the special religious preparations for the awesome gift of Christ our King!
Prepping to move 🙁
So this year, hoping to squeeze in some holiday things as time & energy allow.
A reminder that life isn’t perfect, but one can always try to make the best out of circumstances out of their control.
At least I can listen to Christmas music while trying to do what I can to get things done ????
Spending time with our 3 generations and gorging on turkey. It’s been so cold in Maryland the last 2 days I don’t want to go out!
We are going to try to have more of a low-key Christmas this year actually! We’ve had a really busy year, and nothing sounds better right now than staying home and baking cookies, watching Christmas movies, and hanging out with my 3 year old and husband.
Enjoying it at home with the hubby!
not many plans. i work for a shipping company so we are mandatory six days until january and will be working a LOT of hours until the holidays are over so i just want to survive it and get to janiary for some relief!
i plan on spending it at my house and my family coming in from dallas and my kids coming down and cooking and having so much fun im hoping they usually dont fight 8 yrs between them so im looking to seeing them and well i miss them so i cant wait
As being a 4-generational house also, we will be keeping it somewhat low key. Going to try baking some cookies for the church and get the whole group to attend Christmas Eve service. Can’t remember the last time my entire clan showed up altogether to take up an entire row!
I always spend the holidays with my family. We love to watch all the great Christmas movies together, and make tons of food!
Home for the holidays and celebrating boxing day with my sister and her family the next day! Decorations must be magical for my 8 year old nephew!
Try to get as much accomplished as early as I can so I can spend more time with my family (and friends) without running around like a stressed out maniac that I’ve become in previous years. ???? Happy Holidays to you & your family!
No plans yet. Probably celebrating at home.
I host Christmas. My father side of the family comes over and the Finne/McGoverns comes and celebrate. It’s full of so much laughter, kids playing, and yummy food!! My favorite time of the year!
I’m planning to have a quiet holiday this year with lots of delicious food and Hallmark movies!
We will visit my parents for the holidays for dinner.
We’ll be giving our kids gifts earlier in the month for Yule and then spending Christmas week visiting both our moms. Our youngest has his 7th birthday on Dec. 26th so it’s easier to spread out presents and get togethers.
We are hoping for snow so we can use our new sleds.
We plan on getting together with relatives, and some family will be visiting we haven’t seen in years!
The holidays can be hard when you’re missing a loved one. My family has been there, but you’re right; time moves forward and we find new ways to remember the ones who are gone and make new traditions and memories. This year we will celebrate the holiday all month with neighbors and friends before heading to my parents’ house for Christmas. I’m looking forward to the busy month ahead!
Over the holidays we spend Christmas Eve with my husband’s whole family celebrating our polish Wigilia (VA- GIL-YAH) we make homemade pierogies and bobka and enjoy playing games with our little ones and family. Christmas Day is all about the kids. We stay home in our pjs and our whole family join us (in their jammies as well) it’s another day of eating great food, watching old home videos and playing games!
We plan to decor our house, visit Christmas events in the malls with my family

We are going to be enjoying our daughter, son in law, and first grandbaby spending the holidays with us! They have been with us since October because of Hurricane Michael devastated Panama City, FL where they live. Even though their apartment didn’t sustain damage, their jobs are still trying to rebuild and open back up. It’s different for them but we are so happy they will be with us for Christmas! HomeGoods is my favorite store! I’ve already started to decorate! Love Christmas!
My daughter, son in law and our grandbaby River will be spending the holiday with us. Due to Hurricane Michael devastating Panama City where they live. Their apartment is fine but their jobs still need to rebuild things and may be able to open in January. We are just thankful they are safe and we can provide a place for them to stay. Christmas will be extra sweet this year!
Looking to spend the Holidays in Sutton with family and friends. Hoping to have a magical dusting of snow but nothing more. It’s been feeling a lot like Christmas since before Thanksgiving with this chilly weather.
I have a long list of projects to sew and craft. Hopefully I can get my kids involved in some projects too
We are traveling to Missouri to spend time with my husband’s family and celebrating my Grandma’s 92nd Birthday!
Such a beautiful home you have! I spent Thanksgiving with my Mama, BF, and grandma this past… which was so amazing to have them here. I plan to also spend Christmas with them with lots of cooking, laughter and love! Hope you had a great holiday! xo
Spending time with family
I get to do a couple of pre holiday trips that I’m looking forward to the first is a girls trip with my Mom, sister, niece to visit my other niece and great niece in Arizona. The second trip is with my Husband to visit our best friends in Mexico. When we get back a close family friend is coming to spend the holiday with us so it will be a busy holiday season.
Our plan for the holiday season is to spend lots of time with our family. We have four grandchildren (3 granddaughters and 1 grandson) and are blessed to have them all locally. They actually love to hangout with us so we play games and just enjoy the time together.
Baking cookies, attending a few parties, and cuddling on the couch at home!!!!
Trying to keep things simpler this year! Lots of fun crafts and cookies and less mall madness! ????
I plan to try to attend as many holiday events as possible with my family! Santa breakfasts, tree farm visit(s), drives to see holiday lights, etc. I love this time of year and love the excitement I see in my children as well!
Hi Jessica, my husband and I are going back home to Tampa for Christmas. We moved 2 1/2 years ago so we are so excited to be with our children and family once again for Christmas! Yay! Merry Christmas!
On Christmas Eve we get togethor with our neighbors families and friends and make gingerbread houses with the kids and eat appetizers. Christmas day we stay at home and the kids open there gifts.
For the first time in my life I will not be in Georgia for Christmas. That being said we will establish new traditions here in Vermont. The best part is we will finally be moving into our small barn conversion! (Think In-law digs in an attached barn) We will be with the Grandchildren in the snow! A holiday season full of firsts as we continue our grand New England adventure!
I’m looking forward to going to a local tree farm to pick out our Christmas tree next weekend! And attending a neighborhood cookie swap. My daughter will come home from college mid-December to mid-January! It’ll be a nice, quiet Christmas here at home…then my sister will be visiting that following weekend!
I plan on spending time with my daughter, (she will be home for Christmas, lives in Rwanda, Africa) baking, watching movies and just loving on her every minutes she is home! <3
Our youngest son moved to Denver this past summer so the rest of us here in Michigan are packing up and going to see him this year. Not sure how I feel about Christmas on the road yet but hoping we will make many great memories. 🙂
I plan to spend the holidays surrounded by family, friends, and food.

I just enjoy spending time with family no need to rush around but to just play games, football, laugh and time to make memories because you cant take away memories.
Excited to spend the holidays with family. My son comes home from NYC back to the West coast for a week. Cherish those times together.

We travel to visit family during the holiday season. Thanksgiving we drive there and back in all one day but we rent a hotel for Christmas Eve to be there earlier on Christmas.
I’m having my family over at my house on Christmas Eve. Then I’ll be spending Christmas with them at my mom’s house. 🙂
we will be at home this year visiting family
Lot’s of parties to see all the extended family during the holiday season. We’re full of blended families so our Holiday Season extends into January! And I’ll be baking all throughout. My house is going to smell wonderful!
This year will be very different for our family. Unfortunately due to my husband’s chronic medical conditions we were forced to sell our home which was also my childhood home. My entire life I lived in the same home and had never moved. Our three children ages 10, 9, and 6, had only known that home as well. We were able to buy a smaller home that is two hours away from our old home. My husband, our children, our dog, my older brother and his dog drove the 96 miles to Springfield, MA on August 29, 2018. This will be our first Christmas in our new house. After my mom passed away 8 years ago we spent Christmas Eve at my mother in law’s house (she is now an hour and 50 minutes drive from us) My husband is Italian so his family also does the 7 fishes dinner. Christmas morning my in laws would come over to watch the kids open their gifts from Santa and after my husband would cook us all Belgium waffles. In the afternoon we would go to my in-laws or I would make dinner at my house and my brother and my husband’s siblings and familes would eat dinner, open gifts and by desert my friends would come over for desert and coffee. This year because we are so far we have decided to spend Christmas Eve and Christmas day at our new home. The day after we are going to my in laws and will spend the night. (2 hours each way is very difficult for my husband because he is so unwell)
For Christmas Eve I want to have dinner and then watch Christmas vacation (as a kid I watched it with my brothers on Christmas Eve) I have the kids open one gift on Christmas Eve which is usually new pajamas. I have been trying to get us matching family pajamas for a couple years but unfortunately it behasn’t been in the budget. I hope next year that it will be in a better place financially and that I can start a family pajama christmas traditon. Christmas will open their gifts from Santa, my husband will make his amazing waffles and I will have the kids help me make cup cakes or a pie and eat dinner. Sorry for the long response. Your home is absolutely beautiful and I found your blog on Pinterest yesterday and have been reading every chance I get. I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New year!
My sister is visiting on 12/26, so we will celebrate Christmas twice! I’m looking forward to decorating our tree and hoping my youngest won’t destroy it! Merry Christmas!
You and your home are beautiful and I will be spending Christmas with my 84 years young parents, children plus sis and her family and my two grandsons, Devin & Dylan ❤️So got to get busy & create some Christmas cheer❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️
