No more swallowing pills! Boy do I have a treat for you today. Sometimes as a blogger we get really cool opportunities to try out fun new products. Today is one of those days. If you are like me, swallowing a large pill is tough. I have no issues swallowing a tiny sized pill but large ones, make me gag. -ha. I am guilty of not taking a daily vitamin or any kind of supplement for that exact reason. My mom still nags me to death about taking a daily vitamin and I kind of just tune her out. The sad truth is, if you don’t take one, you are kind of missing out on daily nutrients that your body needs and lets face it, the older we get the more our body needs certain vitamins to stay healthy. I was recently contacted by Tespo, a consumer direct, subscription-based business, which provides customers with a monthly supply of nutritional supplements in a single 4-inch diameter disc, to see if we wanted to try out their new Tespo dispenser and supplements.
It’s so pretty on the counter!
Easy disk color represents a different formula. I decided to try out Women’s Essential, Men’s Essential for my husband, dad and grandfather and the Children’s Essential for my son.
A storage area on the side of the dispenser allows for you store up to three disks.
I love how the dispenser system is sleek and modern. It coordinates great with our other small kitchen appliances on the counter. This system is a great reminder to take your daily vitamin, in fact, I look forward to it now! Seriously, I have had this unit for 2 weeks now and take my vitamin every day. It actually really tastes good too. The Women’s Essential has a light orange taste and doesn’t leave an aftertaste. It’s really good! I am not sure if you know this (I didn’t) but vitamins and supplements are better absorbed when liquified. Liquid vitamins have an 85%+ absorption rate compared with 10 to 15% with pills or tablets. I totally learned something new when I was researching this product. Tespo is a complete system that enables consumers to receive high quality, premium ingredients without additives of any kind.
Once you click your disk in place and add water to the water reservoir, simply press the round start button and the disk releases the daily supplement amount and mixes automatically with the correct portion of water. The cool thing about this system is once it mixes and dispenses into the cup, it decreases the amount left on the disk so you know exactly what’s left on the disk.
See the number listed below? It’s shaking up the supplement solution and once it’s dispensed, the number will go to 30. Meaning, you have 30 days left. Kind of cool right? One of the features with regard to the Children’s Disk Formula, because it mixed with water, there is no more chewing the vitamin. For me, I love the fact that my son isn’t chewing his vitamin leaving a sugary residue on his teeth.
No more swallowing pills is a great thing in my book. Tespo currently has five product offerings—
