Today I am sharing our master bedroom bedroom Spring makeover and how to make white bedroom walls look gorgeous. If you have been following along, you know that we painted our master bedroom white last Christmas and the amount of buzz that room created was amazing. Honestly, I never have white walls in our house but I am ready to paint everything white now as it makes decorating so much easier!

How to make white bedroom walls look gorgeous
The blue bedding is from HomeGoods and the white walls literally go with any style or color bedding. This room a couple months ago had deep blue walls and yes, it took a whole lot of primer and paint to cover the blue but it was well worth it!
The key to making white bedroom walls gorgeous is the aspect of colorful accents or in this case, colorful bedding.
The four key colors in the is room are blue, blush, white and light brown. The light brown drapes, bedskirt, area rug and grey headboard are neutral colored and fairly basic so swapping out seasonal looks is fairly simple.
I personally love the white ceramic lamp and how the blue shade pops against the white walls. Another great feature of the white lamp is that I can swap the shade out too.

This lamp will probably end up in another room in our house this year so being able to purchase just a new shade to create a new look is a win in my book ;). If you didn’t see our post last week about re-using furniture in other parts of your how to create a new look, check it out. Here is a peek of our pink and blue living room below using a chair and console from another part of our house to create our Spring living room.

I have been eye balling the gorgeous blue and white vase collection from HomeGoods and I finally ended up purchasing a few. Not only do the vases look great on top of our bedroom dresser but I plan on moving then at some point to our white kitchen.
Learning how to decorate with white walls doesn’t need to be stressful. I have often hear renters and friends who are stuck with white walls complain that they can’t paint and are stuck with boring white walls. If that is you, don’t be stressed! White walls are actually quite popular and using colorful bedding and home decor accents can be the way to introduce color and your personal style.

Our master bedroom isn’t overly huge so I am find that the white walls also create the illusion that the room is bigger.

I love the white walls in your bedroom. There are so many shades of white out there. Please share with your readers the brand and shade. I apologize if you already did so.
Hi, the color is by Sherwin-Williams and it’s called Extra White (Satin Finish) . Thanks so much for stopping by 😉
I love the possibilities that white walls offer! You can just change whatever you like on a whim, no worries.
Perfect for people who like to do that 😉
Wishing Gramps a happy homecoming, and good visits this week!!
Thank you Shannon! I am finally getting caught up on blog comments 😉
I completely agree with this advice. After years of color on my walls, I’ve gone to white walls throughout the house. I love to change the colors of accessories in my home for each season and it’s so easy to do with white walls. My living areas have slipcovered furniture in various shades of white which makes it even easier to change accessories!
Isn’t is crazy how boring old white can be so spectacular? 😉 I am loving the white walls too!
Your bedroom looks gorgeous! Well, really every single picture from all the seasons – looks flawless!
