Do you have an ice coffee in the afternoon? I do. Like, every afternoon. Ice coffee is my guilty pleasure and it’s something I look forward to every day. I know I am not the only one. Something about mid-afternoon makes me blah and my little o’l glass of ice coffee makes me smile and feel rejuvenated. Today we are sharing how to make ice coffee. You may remember a few weeks ago I shared my favorite ice coffee smoothie recipe featuring Folgers instant coffee.

Instant coffee is a great way to make a quick cup of ice coffee in the afternoon.

Add a scoop and go! You can do this in a large pitcher or a single glass.

Simply mix a scoop (or few depending on how big your container is) with hot water to dissolve the coffee.

Fill with cold water and ice.

Many times in the morning, I will add a few scoops to a large pitcher, add a bit of hot water and then fill with cold water and ice. After the coffee sits in the refrigerator all morning, it’s nice and cold and perfect for that afternoon break.

My mom and dad also love to have a glass of ice coffee in the afternoon too. My dad is a big fan of having a pitcher full and ready to go.
