Today I wanted to share our top DIY projects that anyone can do. Many can be done even in a weekend. When I started writing this post I thought, the idea of living with four generations under one roof is insane enough alone, never mind working together on DIY home projects. NEVER in my wildest dreams or even “far off” thoughts would I have thought that I would be writing for the 2nd year in a row, about our multigenerational family and our home that we share with all of you.

These are Our Top DIY projects, in no particular order, based on reader views. I particularly love the DIY burlap curtain post as it saved me a ton of money. The DIY laundry shelves were also a great project as they took an awkward closet laundry room to a pretty stylish functional laundry closet with a folding table and functional shelves.
Meet Jessica
What started as a hobby, Jessica’s blog now has millions of people visit yearly and while many of the projects and posts look and sound perfect, life hasn’t always been easy. Read Jessica’s story and how overcoming death, divorce and dementia was one of her biggest life lessons to date.
Jessica!
Amazing projects this year! Your photography is beautiful and I’m amazed by everything you’ve managed to get done! I’ve been lurking for a while and finally had a minute to comment (yay!)… love this! Charlotte @ Ciburbanity
P.S. My parents both grew up on the North Shore of MA and I love reading a fellow-New Englander’s blog. I feel like there aren’t many of us up here! 🙂
Hi Charlotte! So happy you stopped by and commented! That is so cool you are from the NS in Ma. You are right, there are not many New England bloggers. A few but not many that I know of. Stay in touch and I’ll head over to visit you in a bit 🙂
