Dreamy Powder Rooms {mini-makeover in the works}

Guess what, our itty bitty powder room is getting a makeover in the next couple weeks. That means, dreamy powder rooms are on my mind! We have updated the counters and toilet but the walls are in desperate need of a fresh coat of paint. The doors and baseboards are a dark stain which is the original look from 30 years ago when my parents bought our home.
I spent some time the other night pinning and scouring the internet browsing dreamy powder rooms and these are just a few that I am loving. Better Homes and Gardens is one of my favorite sources when looking for decorating inspiration. Our existing powder room consists of one wall and then a half wall. It’s very small. I think I could add the subway tile in one day if I put my mind to it.
I LOVE this vanity below but adding a new vanity at the moment is not an option. A fun mirror though is do-able.
The idea of a beaded board wall separated by a chair rail is also a consideration.
I am not crazy about the wallpaper and vanity below but love the idea of adding a shelf below the mirror.
Shelves and hooks are a great way to add additional storage. Our powder room is in need of shelving for sure.
Love this bathroom full of glitz and glam.
Our goal is to refresh our powder room on a very small budget but choose elements that will make the biggest impact. We will paint the existing vanity and invest a wall treatment. I would love to add a bit of glam with a fresh modern wall treatment and industrial styled shelving. Our powder room is directly off of our kitchen and dining room so carrying over the modern cottage theme is our main objective. Stay tuned, the powder room mini-makeover is happening soon!

Sure do love that mirror in #7, but I’d put it in bathroom #8 for some contrast against that wallpaper.
Can’t wait to see what you do in your powder room, too. I know it will be just perfect!
