Supply List

  • 6 lbs. apples peeled and sliced
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • ½ cup flour
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • Topping:
  • 1 cup sugar part brown
  • 1 stick margarine or butter
  • 1 cup oatmeal
  • 1 cup flour
  • ¼ tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp. nutmeg

Instructions : Step by Step

  • In a bowl, mix sugar, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg. Add apples and toss to coat. Place in a greased 9 x 13 baking pan. In a separate bowl mix topping ingredients - sugars, margarine, oatmeal, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg. Mix until it's a crumbling pie crust mixture. Cover the apples with topping and pat down.Bake in a 375-degree oven until top is light brown and apples are bubbly, about one hour.
